  1. @Dj_doshi congrats on your accomplishment! very envious! well done looks great! if you ever get bored and think of selling hit me up! TK
  2. thanks for the link would not have seen it otherwise. Yeah I think it looks good but the see through case back is going to be a dead give away, I would like the factories to finally make the bumblebee with a FC case! Lets hope for the future. TK
  3. Ap parts are hard to source if you dont have a GEN, ADs check the serial numbers of what you are ordering. however for a premium, I sugest that you check out for real dials and straps; http://www.chrono24.de/audemarspiguet/teilezubehoere--acc.htm high prices, but can you put a price on a FRANKEN? Happy hunting, and the real attractive thing is the T3 dial, yet I have no idea what movement belongs inside??? anyone?? possible? TK
  4. I forgot to mention, that it is a great looking watch on your arm, however the biggest problem with the Navy or the Blue themes is that the colour of the pushers is very far away from the GEN. For me it is never the date loop or the other "ROO" problems, but the colour. The GEN is darker, almost black, it is hard to tell in bad lighting. But I am interested as to your strap..... GEN? from your pictures looks GEN... am I wrong? TK
  5. For that problem? I can recommend the man Josh, you might have to "offer" something, but if any one can. great watch, I hope you can find a solution to your problem, and if not.... sales section! TK
  6. let it be said. The "diver" is not a dress watch. No way. It should be a "divers" watch, yet I have doubts as to who would seriously dive with the AP, Gen or otherwise. The Offshore as a watch is not considered a "dress watch" RO is a dress watch. I hear good things about the new 41mm watches..... I cant think of a "dressy" offshore. Royal Oak is the line for dress....Like big? then I can only say Breitling or something that will not attrct to much attention! Also despite the new v.4 or 5 i lose count the forged carbon is a steal that really does not raise questions because of it weight. I used to own a Gen Alinghi, look and feel perfect. Accuracy is defined by the people that judge it, but the diver is a right move for a good looking close to Gen watch but suit and tie? NEVER! Hope your questions are answered and the next time i have a shirt or tie on I will upload a picture of the diver FC....
  7. Fake. Although well done from the seller. Look at the clasp. You see the give away hole. Reported.
  8. Thanks for the reply. I have a @12 Model. Bought it a few months ago from Josh (Great Trusted dealer!) but this is sadly the second @12 to die on me. I have tried to contact UWE (sweetwatches) but I have not gotten any contact back. Was wondering if it was not something that I could do with a screwdriver!
  9. It is very practical that there is a topic about the movements as I seem to have a problem with one of mine. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it? It works by shaking or winding but only lasts for 4-5 minutes then stops. I imagine this has to do with the power reserve, but I already sent a message to UWE to see if he can fix it, but whilst waiting to hear back from him I would appreciate some advice, is it an easy fix, or should I leave it for a pro. I would also like to mention that even after winding it 35 times it still only works for 4-5 minutes. Thanks in advance
  10. Which Dealer is offering these at the moment?
  11. how can I get my hands on a watch built to this standard? Are there anyways to get the carbon pieces? I am sorry if this has been asked already but I love this mod, some serious eye candy..... any tips helps....... that would be great TK
  12. Amazing Work. I cant describe how much I love seeing your progress. Just awesome. I am also wondering if you will be offering a kit, or at least be able to order certain parts of this project to the masses. Maybe this opens up the doors, to a real bumblebee......with carbon parts....or in the future maybe even a "real" Alinghi!!!
  13. After seeing this post and the forged carbon posts. I think it is time to really consider getting a GP. However, the Open case will always be a dead give away. Put me down for the red one! Graet Job ryanwayer!!
  14. "Very nice. I just purchased its cousin the 39mm Jumbo APRO. I was a little disappointed with the bracelet that came with mine, though. I think the links are too close together, making the bracelet very "stiff" such that it does not contour the wrist. This is especially bad on the first link, so the bracelet ends up sticking out from the wrist instead of wrapping around." I found that the best way to get rid of this was to take of the links once from the left and then right and try to keep the number of links on each side of the clasp equal and then it is no longer a problem. The clear case back on the Jumbo is a dead give away as it is nothing like the real thing. However I am currently seeing if I can get a closed case back for the new Jumbo. Quality is great. from the new jumbo.
  15. Got this update about it from one of our TD: "The Diver will not be so soon.. Maker cannot sort out the inner bezel lume yet .." But hopefully that will still be soon, but 2-3 weeks sounds a little optimistic
  16. Yeah thanks for that MADRED7, I did not look at the size in my excitement! that would be a great rep if they ever repped it! I am still hoping for the dealers to make a good Alinghi Carbon, but I don't think that will ever happen! SIGH!
  17. Whilst browsing a TD site, waiting for my AP Royal Oak Jumbo to arrive I found these added to his selection. Look quite good. Opinions? Link: http://www.1-pc8838....to-p-11962.html
