Looks fantastic! You're a lucky guy! no, it's almost exactly the same spacing as the gen. This isn't classified as a super rep for nothing! are you talking about the ball bearing on the lever? It's hard to see in those pics (you can see a small bulge at the tip in pic2), but it should be there.

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like the crown and/or stem has come loose. If that's what it is, it's an easy fix.

I think it's better. I once tried to open a PAM187 case with sliced bread, it didn't work well.
