Ya, it's now a 320l as it's lost its bracelet. Totally stock. Was going to get it lumed but I'm happy with it as is. I will get the movement (28,800bpm) serviced and put a sexy strap on it. I've wanted a 359 forever but can't find an older model with the high beat and don't want to deal with the low beat... Thanks for your comments guys! Ian

I'm not sure anyone here actually knows what your point is. I am fairly new to this hobby so I'm pretty sure that a great rep could probably fool me if I wasn't given anything to compare it with. But, and this is a big BUT, you have to realize that some of the members here are incredibly knowledgeable about certain models (more so than some ADs, that's for sure) I think it's definitely easier to spot tells on a movement rather than a dial. Movement have always been harder to rep than dials. imho You have to concede that there are people out there that could very easily spot a rep at a glance. Not every model of every manufacturer of course, that is an unreal expectation. But for many people, watches are their passion and they are obsessed about a certain brand or model and know virtually everything about it. Is that so hard for you to comprehend? Back to your "point", if you don't think that it's possible to spot a rep in under a second, why not give your U-Boat to Italo Fontana and see what happens?

more like one of those "I took my rep to the completely wrong AD and they didn't spot it" stories... Here in Taiwan there are companies that make replica Brembo brake calipers. I'm sure if I took them to a Honda dealership, they wouldn't know the difference. Apples and oranges, mate. Try taking your U-Boat to a U-Boat AD and see what happens. If you wish to respect their wishes, you could always ask our "experts" what to look for specifically in regards to the model you want. I understand that the "nit-pickers" are sometimes harsh in their judgements on a small detail of an otherwise great watch, but having said that, I've learned so much in the last year from the comments of our knowledgeable members. If you learn what to look for and you're patient, you'll be able to find the watch of your dreams... I know I did.

I am a noob here but even in the short time I've been involved in this amazing community, I have seen so many good things done by each one of the names you listed. I am proud to be apart of this great group of watch-loving people and I thank those who make that possible. THANK YOU! Ian

Like if I'm searching for a watch for sale, I don't need to see a post from 2006. I know I could search for PVD 2011, but it still wouldn't come up nicely. Thanks again
