I don't know. If I am not wrong, the HBBs from the so-called first or best factory do not have engraved rotors your pics sure looks like it is engraved. It says Decorated Insignia Rotor on the description which say nothing! Guess we will just have to wait for 82KUBA to get his Ice Bang and we will find out!

As I couldn't find anyting, I posted a question on TZ and apparently there is lumi on the hands on the Ice Bang and the hands on the subdials as well. However, I just got an official reply from Hublot that there are no lumi on the latest Ice Bangs. So it seems the newer ones do not have the lumi and the older ones do. Ned to ask the experts in the movement, if I get the engraved rotor from another HBB with the same 28800 beat, would it fit into the movment of this new Ice Bang? Would really appreciate any feedback on this.

Angus did mention in his website that the bezel is finger-print proof and also non-cutting edge. To me, this is not an issue as I do plan to change it to a ceramic bezel. No matter what they do, it will never be the same as an original Ice Bang Bezel, so changing it would be much better and nicer too!

think The Zigmeister can change them. For me the main thing is to find out if the gen hands has lumi! Any ideas? Any way thanks for the feedback.

I just saw on Puretime's website where he has a new range of HBB Full Ceramic Case for a few models, All Black, Black Magic and of particular interest to me, the Ice Bang. I have been waiting for this for a long Time! Finally, an Ice Bang with full ceramic casing, correct hands. One thing I found very interesting is that the bezel is not normal SS like previous version but a PVD Coated version (grey color PVD coated steel bezel with teeth (finger prints proof and non cutting edge!) I think this looks really nice! Any comments or opinions! Would love to hear any feedback before buying. Just when I thought I can take a breather, this comes along!

Well Said! The exact reason why I sold my UPO. I bought it with the intention to put in some gen parts but after some calculation, it would costs around $1200 or so! I would have a $1200 rep of a $2700 gen. I decided that it is not worth it. The first post is really exaggerated in my opinion. The PO is really one of the best sports watches around for its price!

Hi guys, If this is wrong to post here, mods please delete. In a moment of impulse, I asked a dealer to help me find a Pam 48. As it turns out, he has managed to find one. With A7750 movement. the price is actually not cheap, about $350, including shipping! The problem is, I don't really want it anymore as I have bought another watch. However, I was the one who asked him to source for it and I have to honour my word to get it since I did ask him to get it and he did mention the price range before. We have a pretty good relationship now and I really don't wish to spoil it. The thing I need to ask is, will I be able to sell it at the same price? Or do I need to lower it? If need to lower, by how much? Yhe reason for asking is that if too much, I might as well keep it and change a Lello DW to it. Please let me know. Really need some advice! Thanks!

As mentioned, picture of my new Pam 177. Love it! for this, I have to blame V I have bought a couple of straps from him and have yet to try them on! Been waiting and waiting for my rep Pams and its so ironic that I actaully got the gen first! Well, I hope to also finish my other 2 Pam projects before Christmas and then will probably look for V to buy more straps! Well, here it is, my first pam (rep or gen) in 2 years! Now all I need is to just figure out how to get the money to get the 3717(2 weeks) and also the BP (end November) and I will be in heaven! Thanks for all the advice!

I go to the same shop to buy watches. she know I like IWC and again, maybe of the curretn economic situation, was willing to offer the BP at a very good discount when it comes in November. As shes explained, she had a couple of BPs a couple of months agao and it took them a long time to sell them. First time she experienced that as BP normally sell out really quickly!

Hi. Please dont misunderstand. I do notdoubt the authencity of your price list. Like you, I am just curious about the differences in prices. One thing I do know however, is that ADs in Asia generally are willing to offer more discounts than ADs in Europe. Watches like Gerald Genta, Gerard Piregeaux, Corum have always had very good discounts, at least 30% off, sometimes even 40%. There were a couple of times when I was offered Corum Admiral Cup like nearly 50%! Like you said, as long as its authentic watch and comes from authorised AD, I am happy and would just buy the watch. I am really trying to see if I can also afford the Big Pilot as well. (Doubt it) Thanks for all your advice and opinions!

I understand too that Panerai offers litlle or no discount. However, the price list you shown earlier seems to be a bit different from the price I got from the AD. The Pam 112 was after discount, US$4200!

I was actually there for a long time. Was suppose to be asking about an IWC Ceramic Ingy for a friend. the price was around US$5630 while the Big Pilot when it arrives next month, US$9700. 3717 on SS bracelet is around US$3900. This was a model that not so long ago was selling at full or close to full retail price around here due to popularity. Seems like good prices. I do not know what the discounts are like in the States but here, its like 30% + 5%., can be even better for different models. she mentioned they use to keep all the historical and base Pam models as they were sold to regulars even before they displayed them, well not anymore! It does seem that the global financial crisis is hitting the watch retailers hard!

Hi, I was just at an Ad's and was offered a Pam 177K at the price of around US$4520, is that a good price? Would really need and appreciate some advice on this as he will only hold it till tomorrow. FYI, IWC Ingy with stainless steel bracelet is at around US4,110 Bell and Ross BR01 Limited Edition (Red Dial) is US$3645. Please let me know asap as I am thinking of getting either one but preferably the Pam! Really would be grateful for any opinions. Thanks guys!

More information. I just fuond out that is is actually a Asian Unitas movement with engraving of the "officine Panerai" and also installation if the incabloc. I am ordering one and will take pics of it when it arrives. This one will go to my 111 project!
