That "custom made" dial looks like the template for the indices was sketched out by a kindergartener! I'll pass. Enzo's Angelus powered watches are leagues nicer than this one...

Oh, and I vote 231. I LOVE my 210 and wouldn't trade it for anything. Base dials are where it's at.

It *should* say mineral glass, I agree 100%. However, in the case of most (if not all) rep dealers if it is NOT mineral glass, it will simply be advertised as "sapphire crystal", if it says "synthetic sapphire" in the description, it's mineral glass. I'll bet you dollars to donuts on it...

It's right in the title, Jeff. A Panerai 201/A is the model. As mentioned above, this dial can also be used for the 202/A. I don't believe DSN is offering any "pre-ordering" at this point.

I'd have to disagree, subz. I think the 177 on a black gator would look plenty dressy. Is it the brushed finish of the Ti that you think is more casual?

Oh, I thought VirginiaWatchFan's was a mineral. Perhaps not? At any rate, mine's being replaced with a plexi. So if anyone wants a back up, I'll have one, provided the jeweler can get it out of the watch in one piece.

No leg-humping from me. However, buy your 036 from Ruby instead of Joshua. Take the ~$50 you'll save and put it towards a nice strap. Just like "The clothes make the man" (woman, in this case), the straps make the watch. Enjoy that mini-Fiddy. It's one of my favorite cases. Careful of the mineral crystal, though, the 44mm ones have been known to explode just like the 47mm model.

Why not just go with aftermarket buckles? I prefer the Pre-V style "bottle opener" buckles to the "thumbnail" buckles, regardless of the watch.

I have seen Joshua state in threads on RWI that certain dealers can't supply this or that watch because "we have an exclusive agreement with the manufacturer" and then Trusty says anyone can buy them? Odd, no?

I'm in for at least one. No doubts.
