  1. So right before Christmas I lost a lug screw for my 232... Well its not mine really it was supposed to be a gift to my brother. My local watchsmith couldn't help so I turn to you fine gentleman. If anyone can help me in anyway I will forever be in your debt
  2. So, I decided to get an action figure made of my boss to give him for Christmas (we're good friends) but the box and card that are coming with it need some serious help. I noticed that alot of the people on this forum are proficient with photoshop and other programs I know nothing about so I thought I'd try and recruit some help. If there is anyone out there willing to help I would greatly appreciate it! -Mike
  3. My game tag is Missal - just got live yesterday so I should be on in due time.
  4. True on all accounts... the mp5 is excellent for entry, is indimidating, and is so accurate and easy to shoot Michael J Fox could hit Rush Limbaugh at 100 yards, meds or no meds. My brother certainly has no problems with reps. He definitely wants one but I don't think he wants to put in the kind of time it takes to reserach them. So I've been leaning toward omega for Him, I have never had much interest in them but the PO's are kind of nice. Also, there is a Seamaster I have a chance at. Any advice here? How might it compare to a Navi?
  5. The Omega Devilles are beautiful - but before christmas? I am running out of time (pun?) Also, I think he would like a Chrono. VC Overseas Is a good idea, thank you. I never would have considered that watch @dave: He is on call SWAT, hence the MP5 @kenberg: TTK's Patek, the new Rose gold? That is a good looking watch Thanks guys
  6. So, christmas is coming up and I have decided get a watch for both of my brothers and my father. The dilemma: I am having a hard time deciding on what to get them, and from whom. Ideally I would get them all from the same person, one foul swoop (Better yet, they would be here in the states?) So here's the deal I am looking for a dress watch for my dad (maybe a daytona?) he's an executive and only wears a watch when he's dressed up. One of my brothers is a cop in Chicago and he wants something thats not flashy and that he can wear at work (bell and ross??) so its gotta be solid (he has an MP5 in his trunk for christ's sake) The other brother works for Random House in Manhattan, but he just got the job so he's got no money! I was thinking a kind of dressy pam, maybe a 231, maybe a black seal? (btw, they are identical twins - but which ones evil?) Santa, I need you know more than ever. I am having a helluva time deciding exactly what to get these guys, but I definitely want quality watches that I can be assure will last along time. So, I throw myself at the mercy of RWG! What do you think? Oh, and I was thinking of a box to go with the each of them - if I decide on a watch brand without rep boxes, any suggestions on nice presentation boxes?
  7. I am looking at getting that same gold moonphase, the one based on Langematik Perpetual ref. no: 310.025. I'll see if I can get a picture for you. And do you mind if I ask where you got that watch? I haven't been able to find one in gold. How does it run?
  8. There is no sign of any sort of hole on the back side of this CG. The circle you see in the picture is identical to the engraving of REG. & TM. All I can think of is that there is a springbar in there, but I cannot imagine how that would do anything but complicate the machining process, it appears that drilling a hole straight through and running a pin would be the simplest (and most accurate) way to manufacture this watch. Odd
  9. I'll give it a shot tonight and report back, I don't know though - there is nothing discrete or subtle about this watch as far as I can see
  10. No, as far as I can tell its engraved to look like a hole.... what do you think? Its really boggling
  11. Any ideas on how to remove the lever pin on this? The lever jiggles a bit when its open and I am interested in doing the speaker wire mod, but I cant figure the pin out. I haven't found anything in a search, and I know atleast one other member has this problem.
  12. I have the same problem with my andrew fiddy, but the lever pin in my crown gaurd doesn't appear to be genuine... I mean there is no indication of a hole or pin on the rear of the cg, and it really gives me the impression that the small circle indicating a pin, is just an engraving immitating a pin. Thus, I have no idea how to remove the pin, providing there is in fact a pin to remove. Does anyone else have this problem?
