  1. Nice watch, but 4 posts? Could a mod step in and rmove the last 3? Thanms
  2. A fantastic looking watch and good choice for a first rep. The Millgauss is such an understated Rolex with a clean elegant design, and being in college no doubt there will be some envious stares at your wrist. The photos are not bad either. Thanks for the review.

  4. Today I'm wearing the fiddy, as the 341 is enroute back from DSN for a repair. Funny how the 47mm fiddy does not seem quite so big next to the behemoth called the Egiziano.
  5. I tried to se if someone else like you did post it, but it sems I can't get past 2 pages without getting bounced. The geek is not 100% yet. But then, what geek really ever is 100%
  6. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31789294/ns/te...cience-security Check out this story on the No. Koreans launching ctber attacks worldwide on private busines and govt. websites. I tried to post this on the Geek but it is still not working right there. Not to say this is the answer, but it does look mighty suspicious.
  7. Hi there Mattuss. Good to see ypu my pam collecting cohort. This is a good place
  8. Stunning watch. One of the best vintage jobs I have seen. Wear it with pride.
  9. Five out of five Panerai rep collectors reccomend DSN. Many have gone before you and tried others, but in the end it's DSN. You are lucky/
  10. Looks nice, good price. That is the strap it cam with? It actually looks pretty good.
  11. Here is a DSN 5218,203a on a Strap Culture Gator
  12. I reckon the name came to be because I like ham sandwiches and boning women. Hamming and boning, boning and hamming....hambone. This might be to much for the lay person to absorb in one day, but hey, time is what we are all about here.
  13. Dutchie, Do not drive with your rep watch on and your arm hanging out the window. The undercover repwatch assoc. may very well have an agent wearing a magnetic suit and could be under your car snapping pics of your wrist as you drive, as they continue to build an ironclad case against you and anyone who looks like you. These are very precarious times.
  14. This is the famous McFake they have been whining about.
  15. Mahalo Lanikai, My little bro just had a son born in Castle hospital yesterday. His Name is Keoki. A funny thing about the 341 Enzo told me ia that when he and DSN began the concept and assembly of this watch , they worked from the drawings of the original, way before OP even announced this was going to be a special edition. They are even using the same 3 barrel design that is in the original. What a watch!
  16. It measures 60mm with the CG, and I think would it be any large it wolb be to big, Ralph Lauren happens to own the gen from 1956, made for the Egyptian Navy; and it has the brown dial anf brushed steel like the DSN version, which is interesting as it makes his version more accurate to the original design than the actual watch pproduced by Panerai, The swiss made lettering at 6 oclock is also not seen in the Panerai version. thus DSN'.masterpiece. Enzo was also a major influence in this creation.
  17. Thats the ole photograqphy perspective illusion. My wrist is a tad under 8 inches, and the watch looks like a damn behemoth on my wrist, Iy is a thing of beauty though and the best looking Panerai classic ever deigned IMO. I cannot stop looking at it and neither can others. It does have a push pin system and I had a jewelrt trplace them for something more reliable.
  18. Any other Panerai I have purchased pales by comparisono of this DSN sent me along with two nice straps he gave as a gift I did end yp with a very nice custom honey gator from Srap Cuture; They ecxel big time in watch straps.very nice straps, . I chose to use my Mario Paci distressed ammo pouch strao that works rather nicely. I have big hands and an 8" wrist so the watch does not look as large on me as others, but it is still a major attention getting timepiece. Today is a happy day for me. Funny how the simple things in life like a watch can cheer a guy up. Here are some quick shots... http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/5844/compare012.jpg' alt='compare012.jpg'> [url=http://img4.imageshack.us/my.php?image=007ofj.jpg] [smilie=angel13.gif]
  19. This watch is as classic Panerai as you can get. Ralph Lauren has the gen from 1956 and it is in brushed steel, with no swiss/etc print at the 6 oclock position. Even with my 8 inch wrist, the 60 is just to big. How many people have seen this gen? Not many. True it is a fantasy, but still a huge beautiful watch, and I am thrilled to buy it. This is what the vintage Panerai is all about, and Enzo deserves credit for working together with DSN to pull this one off. Bravo, and happy day!
  20. Howzit R My younger Bro is getting married in Nuuanu come October so I'l be back in the islands for a few days. He lives in Lanikai BTW.
  21. DSN 203a on a Greg Stevens crazy horse
  22. I agree the font on the bezel appears way to thin. This is the version I bought from Hont with a ceramic bezel and the font on the numbers seem to be more accurate. The lume is green not blue, but it is of no consequence to me. Nice watch for sure.
  23. The 'lite' has an asian movement which is not as well made or quiet as the 'swiss'.
