I sold my Pam 253 rep to my buddy at work. He plays poker all the time at Caesars and one night a guy playing poker next to him offered him 7 grand on the spot for it. Like Fakey said though, and I agree, it is amusing to get these offers, but dishonest to go through with it. Who wants to be looking over their shoulder for a few bucks? Not worth it.

Go and buy that watch ! I love my rep. The bracelet is in no way to small, it is one of the coolest watch designs ever. Be aware though that it is not for a wrist size that is on the small side. I think those who sold theirs were most likely little guys who could not pull it off.

The design of the Rolex Submariner is as classic as a watch can be, with strong presence, so no, it does not look to small on a big wrist. A guy can get spoiled though being used to the big watches that are so prevelant these days.

"The Rules of the Game" 1939 directed by Jean Renoir, is a must see classic.

Allergy Doc, For me the ceramic dial is everything. It truly makes the watch, and when Hontwatch offered it, I grabbed it. The numbers look very clean like the gen and the 'glow' of the ceramic gives the watch a rich dimension, much like the Hublot BB ceramic bezel. Nice pics, and even with the bezel not perfect, it is a very cool watch. Congrats!

Here is my new Rollie Deep Sea shot from an angle that allows one to see what a tall case this baby really has. The watch has serious presence, which again, is something I never expected from Rolex..

The new Rolex Deep Sea Dweller is by design meant to be one of the most durable divers watches ever made. It is top heavy because it is built to withstand 12,000 feet of water pressure. That requires both a heavy case and a great deal of personal fortitude to even consider diving to such extreme depths. The newly designed bracelet opens large enough to put the watch on your ankle, but is meant of course to fit over a dive suit. Having worn the rep, for 3 days, a new ceramic version, I can say that it is most comfortable on my wrist, which is 8 inches.Had to even remove a link, and brush the center links. I can say that the watch is not as bulky as breitlings or Panerais, but it is also not tiny and dainty like the 40mm and smaller Rolex watches to date have felt on my arm. This watch is a solid, heavy, man's man watch, and destined to be one of the great classic Rolex watches IMHO. I could say that those who poo poo the watch are limp wristed girleymen. but I won't say that. We all have our own individual taste and thats what floats the many boats.

Just got my Deep Sea Dweller with the Ceramic bezel. It is indeed real ceramic. My first Rolex rep, and purchased because it is a big watch.

I just bought this watch from a dealer in China, which actually has the ceramic bezel. Not seeing this important part of the watch being offered from any other dealers, I could not resist. The lume however is green and will need to be modded to the deep blue on the gen, which looks awesome.
