  1. 172 on a Woodward Gator strap....
  2. Trusty and Josh both have 4 examples of Uboat watches as of yesterday. Here is a Flight Deck Chrono in gold. The prices and specs are not posted yet. This watch looks like it should be a 53mm. The Classico is 43 mm, although I could not find a gen classico in gold with the white dial. It is a very cool watch. http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=3073
  3. There are so many...Geez, I love beer especially when it is 100 degress plus outside, but my favs are... 1. Shootenzeelodin Pale Ale 2. Knockenzeehead Lager 3. Stainmeinehosen Dark 4. Banginzeefrau Ale There are so many great beers and so little time to drink them all
  4. Ha ha HA...Who flung poo on you? 700 million chopsticks do not make a formidable fighting force. China's army might be able to poke out some eyeballs, but the advanced technology needed to make those sophisticated weapons have not been copied yet, like every other product. Every time China's bumbling spies try to smuggle something out of this another country, they get caught. Superiority in numbers does not mean much.
  5. Here is a U Boat replica I just purchased and put in the backyard of my beach house. It is actual size, and shoots kegs of beer instead of torpedos. Oh, there is a nice clock inside as well
  6. EMS...efficient and reliable. 4 to 7 days delivery time, and most always you can track the progress.
  7. Thank you Chief. God Bless America. The foundation of our country was indeed the effort of great and brave men, who created the greatest nation on earth.
  8. Wow. Great photo work and what a beauty of a combo! Seal of Approval!
  9. Happy B Day to a Yankee Doodle Dandy!
  10. What should be done is that you send a notice to the GAF Counsel as a counter to their demand and you demand that the GAF Counsel surrender to the Los Angeles chapter of the Crips gang, for a series of roundhouse kicks to the cranium.
  11. I really do not think that the people who work in the AD stores are worthy of the gesture of me removing my rep watch, so I will continue to do as I please
  12. There is something inherently gratifying about purchasing something that by and large cannot be recognised by most as a replica, and paying a fraction of the price. It is actually more exciting than gratifying and it is of course rather habit forming. Some of us collect gens and reps, while economics dictates that some of us can only purchase reps, and there is another category that could buy gens, but have great reluctance when they can buy 10 good reps as opposed to 1 gen. It seems almost foolish and a waste of money, but as always, to each his own. It is a great hobby
  13. Mahalos Lanikai. My dry cleaning lady also extends her aloha.
  14. Welcome and Aloha to the Norwegian Noob.
  15. Of course this is a rule that cannot be enforced in any way. The option that the admin and moderators have is to delete such posts as they deem apporopriate. To answer the question written by the author of this thread is another matter IMO.
  16. The 2nd largest Tourneau store is in the area where I work and have walked in there at least every week. The few times my rep came up was in passing converstaion and it is always complimented as a gen. Buying a gen has been a plan for awhile and I keep looking, but the staff there cannot tell the difference between gen and rep really at all. It all depends on how you carry yourself also, but never do I flaunt the rep being worn at the time. Removing it is not needed.
  17. I have been sorely tempted to get the PVD coat Radiomir. It is a classy design no doubt. One interesting point on the rep, as it is a PVD coat and not ceramic, the rep weighs more than the gen as the gen has a ceramic feels rather lightweight in my hands, having seen the gen. The steel gives the impression of a more substantial watch which many of us prefer. Just as titanium is lighter than steel, ceramic is even lighter, so this would be a tell. It all depends on what floats your boat. Has anyone purchased the ceramic Radiomir rep? Please spout forth opinions.
  18. What more do you want? A rim job? Where do these people come from? Oh, North Carolina.
  19. When I attended Kaiser High, we lived in the house at 175 Hanapepe Loop, purchased in 1974. The Portlock cliffs were a regular hangout and I have spent many days there. My dog even used to jump off the cliffs to fetch a tennis ball. It is that spot where I befriended Paul andLinda McCartney, as they were renting the cliffside hom used for both Hawaii 5-O and Magnum PI. Great memories. Mahalo for the update on the grinds bruddah!
  20. Yeah Lani, Hawaii is not like it was when we were in school. 10 cent bus fare. Checkers and Pogo. They have L&L BBQ here in Vegas but not the same. Sukenjos plate lunch in Waikamilo is the most ono. Speaking of ono, Ono Hawaiian food on Kapahulu is awesome, if they are still there. I lived Kapahulu area for awhile and that street was full of great grinds. I'm getting hungry.
