  1. Lanikai, you are the spirit of Aloha . There are simple minds here that love to try and bring a good soul like you down, so don't even sweat it bro. You write words of wisdom and have nothing at all to be defensive about. Keep on doing your thing and don't let the lolo mahu's get you down! "When da pilikia gets too thick, geevum three slaps Bruddah"
  2. What bugs you about getting knocked in the head by a falling bowling pin?
  3. Charlie Sheen is much more interested in watching snatches than snatching watches.
  4. Fxr Andy, It is not a concept car it will be in full production by October 08. They are for sale now. It requires a motorycle license as it is a 3 wheel vehicle. The body is fiberglass, as is the Chevrolet Corvette. You don't not want to crash in any car, to be sure, and one like this is less safe than having steel around you, but probabably safer than a motorcycle. Not reccomended for pussies.
  5. This car is about the coolest design I have seen. It is either all electric or a hybrid that gets 300 MPG. Cost is 29,500, and they are taking orders with a 500. deposit. It goes from 0-60 in 10 seconds and tops out at 90 MPH. Link to website/ http://www.aptera.com/details.php
  6. No problem, they are not missing anything. American bourbon is nasty stuff and no comparison at all to the the great Scottish single malt whiskeys and their counterparts.
  7. I like this also, the cannon pin mod was the only thing stopping me.
  8. Lee Oscar, Befrore the Rain. Classic and one of the grestest harp players ever.
  9. Thanks Kenberg, consider Cascade to be already consumed by your truly.
  10. Some people like beer. I love beer and have always been on the lookout for standout brewskies. Let me tell you that today I picked up a six pack of Coopers Brewery Pale Ale out of South Oz and it is superb and delicious. It can be hit and miss when trying the multitude of pale ales out there, some are heavy and bitter, while others are smooth and refreshing. Coopers is on par with the best available. Not cheap either. The store where I got mine had it for 10.99 a six pack, which for beer is s bit more than usual. Well worth it. This is old new to the down under crowd no doubt, but for those inhabiting the far reaches, try it if you can get it.
  11. Very cool looking combo. Congrats O.S.
  12. Reps are reps and gens are gens. One thing for certain is that they are all watches and serve the same purpose. Imitation is a sincere form of flattery they say, some copyright holders opinions notwithstanding, but it's all good. We are all brothers in the world of collecting wristwatches and some are driven by a purist mentality, others by financial ability, and others who can afford gens but find the allure of collecting reps of good quality to be irresisitable. It's all good and no one, IMO, should be penalized for bringing reps into an AD and the comparison thereof. Don't worry, be happy, that popolo balladeer used to say.
  13. If a baby boy is born in an elevator, should he be named Otis?
  14. Great first rep. Sets a standard of excellence for watches to follow.
  15. 'The Last Boy Scout' was ok, but I thought the classic Ian Flemming film, 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' made Bruce Willis look like Tatum Oneal in 'Paper Moon'.
  16. Cats, you will pull through this challenge, just maintain a positive spirit, keep your humor as much as you can, for truly laughter is the best medicine, count your blessings and drink alot of water. The power of ones mind is an extrordinairy thing indeed and I have seen many people pull through near death illness by willpower and common sense. Peace be with you brother.
  17. I just watched a Japanese language film from 1999 called 'Tokyo Psycho", it is also released as 'Tokyo Rampage' The story of a dissaffected youth who has it out for the Yakuza and blazes a trail of mayhem. It has been called the Japanese 'Taxi Driver' for good reason. This was a film I enjoyed quite a bit.
  18. No problem, just think if they turned your action figure into an avatar, then all hell would surely break loose!
  19. I think the oversized crown is one of the best features of the watch. If anyone asks me what kind of watch I will say, 'Why it is not only a watch but also a stun gun, should you be in a jam, the lever releases a hefty 20,000 volts into your tormentor"
  20. Great fam there. Panerai watches rule!
  21. Football to Americans is what Soccer is to the rest of the world. Congrats to the New York Giants at pulling off one of the great upsets in Super Bowl History, and for rewarding me $3600.00 American dollars betting with a mere $300.00 on an underdog the books had at 12/1. Ahh yes.
