  1. Here is a picture from this morning on a 97200 rep bracelet from a Noob V2.
  2. I was also able to snag a gen 16610 LV dial and hand set this morning...so that will be fun. Planning to tear down the watch and massage the case a bit, smoothing the lugs and reshaping the CG's. Also picked up a gen crystal with AR.
  3. Here is a shot on a modified V3 TC 93250. I had to shave down the SEL's as they were a little too wide. It's still SUPER tight to fit, so I need to remove a little more, but the fitment is overall very good. Specs: Gen parts: 3135 Movement and date disk Hands Crown Bezel insert Rep parts: ST 3135 case Clark's bezel assembly Clark's tube Noob Sub-C AR crystal Sean 3135 dial TC V3 93250 Bracelet
  4. Man, if someone could get these and make them reliable, it would be a game changer. This movement + gen dial, hands, insert and a TC case, is a damn fine watch.
  5. I just got a daytona and the bracelet is a little rattle-y, I can't wait to try this.
  6. It says it is a policeseizure auction. Probably drug dealers.
  7. Any idea how well the helenarou crown actually seals? I've got a 300m rated MK II LRRP Dive watch, that I want to have modified with shaved CG's, and replace the crown with something bigger. Would the Helenarou 8mm crown, either sterile or with markings, be good enough for swimming (I don't plan to go down to 300m).
  8. So I asked the seller for shots of the movement and he got back to me that the watch is out getting polished and he would get me pictures when he gets it back...hmmmmm. Also suspicious that he has so much feedback on ebay and all positive. Also, looking at pics of Gen Yachtmasters on rolexforums has me thinking it might be gen like the seller states. 1) I was curious about the "Swiss made" taking up 5 minute ticks. I found this picture which has a bezel insert that seems to be textured the same And this picture which has the 5 minute tick swiss-made and not so bold YAcht Master
  9. I wouldn't buy it unless it was a) gen, really had a 3035 movement in it, and c) was like $2k
  10. Yachtmaster that the guy claims has a 3035 movement in it... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Yacht-Master-Mens-Watch-16622-2006-NO-MOVEMENT-100-authentic-/181076151898?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2a28face5a I would normally call shenanigans but seeing the open 9 is giving me second thoughts...
  11. Nice. I bought a P-serial 14060M that came with a stock 93150 bracelet as well as the above 62510H for $4k. I I think it's a decent price considering the 62510 could probably be offloaded for $300-400, but when I started to question the legitimacy of the Jubilee I got a little nervous. the 14060 actually looks pretty darn good on the jubilee, dresses it up a bit.
  12. So I was really worried by the scroll work around the "ROLEX" since that seems to be the biggest tell. With the sellers original picture, there was glare on the right side, but he sent me a new picture that's clear this is a genuine bracelet. End links are 502T, not sure if those are very valuable or not.
  13. I can't seem to find a definitive answer on whether a 62510 clasp should have the little crown under the R next to "Steel Inox" Does this look legit?
  14. So I'm looking at buying a gen 1675 and it's listed with this pretty beat up rivet bracelet. The things I'm confused about is the end links and the clasp, never seen anything like it. Clasp: End Links Bleh, stretch, is this thing even worth ANYTHING?
  15. This could be good for someone building a franken. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-SUBMARINER-1680-MOVEMENT-ONLY-CALIBRE-1570-/180788984652?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2a17dcfb4c&_uhb=1 FYI, I'm not associated with the listing, just passing along something I found while looking for get rolex movements on ebay.
  16. More details, it's a GMT with Explorer 2 dial. http://rolexblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/super-cool-customized-rolex-gmts-by-pcs.html
  17. Is that explorer guts put in a ceramic GMT case with a normal gmt master pepsi insert?
  18. You can get a brand new 2846 movement for about $90, so that's the route I would go.
  19. You could always take it apart and then put it back together to get that feeling, haha. But $1300 for the movement is a great price.
  20. I JUST discovered this movement. Holy crap, drop in replacement for the 2836 but doesn't beat 8 per second, only 6! But damn, it's like half the price! I don't do reps, I am building Homages, but I love the rep scene because unlike the gen crowd, most people here actually KNOW about watches!
  21. Thanks! I was getting ready to order some tubes and the place I'm ordering from listed an installation tool for 6020 tubes, and I was 99% sure that was the same spline setup as the 7030 tubes, but it's always good to get some confirmation.
