  1. Please post a pic of your 111F. Here is my new EL 187G. It has double AR coating and I just relumed it.
  2. Thanks Marlin. This made it very clear to me. I can give it a try. PM sent for the center wheel Thanks again.
  3. Haha, I know what you mean. wait till I can show that lovely Eddie Lee 187G I recently aquired.
  4. I had two of those, both from the Cartel (Josh and Andrew) and had no problem with them. I think all trusted dealers can get these.
  5. Yeah it was, specially if you had that Angus Ultimate like my 111E. I now started restoring a 183G Radiomir Blackseal.
  6. I got it this way in a PAM183G. The crown was broken off aswell (not the stem). Someone did use a lot of force on it for sure.
  7. It is not an H3 but it schould be converted to an H3. Does this look normal to you Andy? I think I will send you an email LOL.
  8. Hi Andy. Thanks mate. Yes, that is correct not much resistance. Easy fix to do myself?
  9. Second question. It is running great and the seconds hands moves but the hour and minute hands are not moving. What can cause this and what is the fix? Thanks for your help.
  10. I have this nice 111E and the most obvious flaws of the movement are the incabloc and the two biggest wheels (Ratchet and ?? wheel) whith there screws. first, Is it possible to just change the incabloc system of the movement, is the hole the same as for an ETA incabloc and is the material on a rep movement good enough to repress a new one in? Second, are ETA wheels more like the ones Panerai uses and does the ratchet wheel has the lefthand thread? Thanks in advance for any anwser. Maybe you see any more mods that can be done.
  11. Are the crowns used on reps representive to the original crowns used by Panerai? Most common crown: I don't want to know who makes the best but only want to know if the style/form is correct.
  12. I just bought a PAM111E from member Scoobs. I could not be happier with it. I found out that is started its live here: http://www.rwg.cc/to...11e-impressive/ Since that time it had two mods, a relume by the Zigmeister and AR coating by Jakub. I got it yesterday and cleaned the watch and greased all seals. It still looks very good and accurate and since this is a 111E it is very rare. Will post more pics later. For some reason I'm starting to collect those oldies. They have something the newer ones don't have. The mods make it special, someone has put some love and effort in it and since they survived 5+ years they where taken care off. Will post my 088G (also from Scoobs) later. What oldie do you have and what love did it get?
  13. Go the mesh way. It looks so good on this watch. Don't mind the dial on this one, it was just a fun project.
  14. It should have a working bezel lock.
  15. I don't think so. This strap has straight endlinks.
  16. Thanks for your positive comments guy's. I have one gen Mark XV dial left (a Tritium dial) if someone fancy to do a similar build let me know.
  17. Thanks W0lf. This makes it a nice project watch. I had a gen 24B once. This one gives me a more gen like feeling than the DSN I had once.
  18. I got a Cartel PAM 24A. I think it is pretty good altough the bezel was brushed and the dial dots have metal surroundings. Would like to know more about this rep so...... Can someone remember what the good and the bad is of this watch.
