Thanks E. Worked on it more today and It is much more smoother now. It is caused by the matt binder, it cures to quick.

Worked on my dial a bit. Trying to get the Tritium look as perfect as possible. In real live the Triangle looks much better. Same here. It looks like the White Gold surroundings are hand made. Can anyone confirm this? Nice! Did I told you this baby will glow? It will! Don't you worry, can't be seen during the day.

Here is the dial mounted on an AS3135 in a WM9 V1 16610 case. If there is some one out there that wants to trade his 3035 middle case for this WM9 case let me know.

Thanks for all the comments. I did not know that the Y3135 also fits a 3035 case. If that is the case I will use that instead of the 3135 case.

Beautiful build

Decided to build an 16800 after I have seen all those nice builds here lately. I had the opportunity to buy a gen 16800 dial and bezel insert. All-though not in very good condition I saw that with a little TLC these would make a great base for my build. Received both today and started working on them right away. Dial when I got it: It is a glossy dial with WG surrounded indexes. As you can see it turned matt already and the Tritium in the indexes was partly gone. I am not planning to change anything about the dial besides the missing Tritium. I love the patina caused by turning matt. So I relumed the indexes with a special mix off lume, pigment and binder. This is the result: Here together with bezel insert. I am going to use a Y3135 movement for this build and a ST 3135 case. Both maybe not correct for a 16800 but no one can tell from the outside. Next step will be reluming hands. Still waiting for those as well for the case and movement. Gen none LEC crystal will be used. Still looking for a good bracelet. I will post updates when I get parts in and assemble more.

Are you sure it is a Seadweller insert and not a Submariner insert?

Sorry guy's but nothing beats the real stuff. Just buy yourself a Tritec superluminova starter kit with C1 SuperLuminova. You can use all kind of pigment pulver to change the color in whatever you want (it will glow less thoug if you do that). The good tritec binder gives you an excelent result what cannot be compared to anything else.

I did LOL. But.... as always change of plans. I ordered the 3135 case but I bought some gen parts for a 16800 build so I am in need of a 3035 case LOL. ST again I think.

If you are lucky the crystal and bezel insert. But most likely you will have to work on either the retaining ring or the crystal to have it work. You can add a gen crown if you change the tube.

no, they won't fit. Gen Rolex hands have different diameter than ETA hands.
