Thank you. If I look at the same angle as the watch in your picture it is exactly the samen. On more question, my watch with a 1665 case should have an other bezel? Same as yours?

I just bought this watch and the former owner claimed the crystal was replaced with a gen crystal. I would like to know if this is true because it would set the value of this watch in an other perspective and it is maybe a good base for further modding. Second question is what you think of the crown. Thanks for looking.

The lugholes on a Submariner date dissapeared around the year 2004 I believe (read somewhere).

There is a sort of chain oil (dry oil?!) that should be really good. There is a topic about that on RWI.

But since budget gets less and I'm more in to vintage nowadays reps give a great opportunity to collect watches. Yes, I just saw this copy. It is all correct. Spanish post claims it is in France right now. They do know it needs to go to Germany though.

Well according to the nice German post lady it is certainly not meant to go to Germany! She claims that if it was meant to go to Germany it would be in the Germany system with the same number it got from Spain. But it isn't. Only country of origin and destination country get it in there system (all according this lady). Never had this before and I'm not claiming seller (sender) has something to do with this but something went wrong. Just trying to find out what and try to get my watch.

Thank you for looking. A week ago I bought a watch from a member in Spain. Every thing went the way it should be. I even got a tracking number. But, here it comes: after the 14th of March the parcel seems to be lost, there are no more updates on the tracking site. I called the German post every day (destination country) and the stated that it was not in there system. Today I called them and the woman, who seemed to know what she was talking said that this parcel was never mentioned to go to Germany. If it would she would have had it in there system no matter if it was still in Spain or not. Unfortunately she could not see what was the destination country but she advised me to call the Spanish post and ask them because they can see this in there system. The seller talked to the Spanish post twice he told me and the first time he told me to wait till the 18thd and the secon time het told me to wait till the 24th. I don't doubt his honesty but want to find out myself where my watch went. So, could someone from Spain call there Postal service and ask where the parcel with number: RR603046572ES was supposed to go to? Many thanks in advance.

Need some advise on this DRSD which is for sale on an other forum. Seller claims it to be a MBW, it has no serial number nor POLEX between the lugs. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Is the crown good size?

Out of the box I think best to go with a MBK/MBW. I asked Narikaa to source one next time he goes over. Other option is to keep an eye on the sales corner's of all forums.

OK, bin searching the web all evening. Dial, the word "date" should not be on there. I've also read somewhere that an original dial probably will not fit. Anyone know where to get an correct dial from? Bezel, probably from a GMT II. Needs to be trimmed down a bit, correct? Case, is it to thick? anyone??

Maybe a gen dial with matching hands. For the rest it is awesome.

Just bought this nice 1675. Description form the previous owner (as are the pictures): - Movement: Gen Swiss ETA 2836 with GMT Hand working - Gen 70´s insert - Vintagised matte dial (markers with granular aspect) - Shaved crown guards - Classicwatchparts hands set - 93150 bracelet - Drilled lugs holes so accepts gen spring bars - Clark's plexi crystal - Gen Crown and tube First question, does it have a GMT bezel or a sub bezel? For me it is hard to tell on the pictures. Second, how wrong is the dial, some one mentioned it in the sales threat. Would a upgrade to a gen dial be better? I have a correct jubilee for it and am planning to use it on this one. Anyone more suggestions to make it more like a gen? Here are some more pics (all of previous owner):
