OK, I got this Pre A 002 in a trade from a nice forum member. It has a unknown case (could be DSN though) and a FDG dial lumed by The Zigmeister. There is one part though I did not like at all. Yes, it would be possible to put in a Swiss 6497-1 or 6497-2 in. Advantages, imo not realy. The 6497-1 cost at least twice as much over the seagull one and as far iv'e read so far there is not much of quality difference. The 6497-2 will set you back 500$.

I just got the DW 7032 which was for sale on the sales corner. Lovely watch and all as promised in the sales post. On thing the seller mentioned was that the stem was cut to short. This isn't the case it is just a faulty crown. I think that the spring is just to weak and causes that the crown is just turning freely without turning the stem. I've tried with an other crown and all went well but this crown, from a sub, did not fit the tube. So, what crown do I need and where to source? Thank you for your help.

318 is even better. Has a closed case back and has a 18.000 beat movement like the original.

If we are talking about the PAM318, Brooklin Bridge Luminor Marina with Logo, you also have a manual wind 6497 movement.

I believe that this is a common problem with these Asian 6497-1 movements. I had one with exact the same problem.

The 199. Actually not bonding with the pre A 002. I like the base models a lot but it has to be a logo one. There are no further mods done on the 111H.

Here is a group picture after two weeks of starting to collect Panerai rep's. I owned some gens in the past, a 112, 111 and 24B and loved them all. There are still some wishes though, a 005 is on its way as well a 26k and a 002B. On top of the wish list is the 201/A, I love the logo. Thanks for looking.
