Thank you.
Here is an other wristy:
Did I told you it has a gen crystal? Well it does.
The pearl is a modded stock pearl that came with the insert. Pulled out the stock lume and put in some new but only filled the pearl tha 50%. When the lume is fully cured i will top it of with some clear compound.
Just some bad pics (cause of the bad weather)
Specs:
- rep case
- gen dial
- gen hands
- gen crown
- bleached insert to gen color
- sealed He valve
- Swiss ETA 2824-2
- gen clasp
I just took 10 pics and found out none are decent. Will take some new lster but here is a teaser
I got the SMP rep from a member. It is a canal street one what I modified. The case and bracelet are real good and I changed the movement to a Swiss ETA 2824-2. The hands are gen and the dial was relumed (unfortinately it was relumed with the wrong binder). I am waiting for the gen 007 dial I bought and a gen crown to finish it.
It is all about that wonderfull blue colored bezel inlay that the SMP 300 has.
It ist that part that the rep industry never got right (among other things). If you want to have it correct you will have to buy the gen bezel assembly which will set you back +200 USD.
WSO sells the inlay but it has a bad pearl and the wrong color blue. I had 3 of these and tried to work on them to get a better color tone and pearl. Thoug still working on the pearl I want to check here what you guy's think about the color.
In the pictures is the dark, unmounted one the stock WSO inlay.
So, what do you think?
Sorry, but what is a wokky rehaut?
Is the Case from the Ultimate Sea-Dweller better? If you don't see it don't care about it. As soon you see it it will border you like hell.
Which SMP? I have swapped out rep dials with gen dials and didnt have any issues.

What movement did they have?
I m of understanding that the rep Seamaster Professional with swiss movement has an ETA 2836-2 movement. If you install a gen dial, which is thicker than the rep dial, this will give you a problem with the total hight (correct?) Now if I would install the gen dial on an ETA 2824-2, which has les hight as an 2836-2 will this solve the hight problem? Is it possible to install a gen caseback on a rep case?
Inspired by this thread I asked Donerix to make me a strap with his grey canvas.
(hope you don't mind me using your pictures E?) Still waiting for the strap but this is how it looks like:
Back
Looking forward putting it on my watch.
Ever heard of the Great White? Sure you did...
I am planning to build it as good as possible with as many gen parts as I can find.
What do I gave allready:
Gen movement, but it is an coaxial GMT movement
Gen dial
Gen crystal
Gen crown and tube
What I still need is:
Donor watch, I asked Toro and Angus if they can source one.
Hands, but maybe I can use those of the donor watch (when ETA) and relume them.
Bezel insert
Anyone have experience in building this? Any thing I should be aware of?

Thanks Mike.
I have one on the way and can't wait till it gets here (looks to take for ever ).
It will be a bugger for me if the lume is not super lume. As I am a lume guy this is very importand for me.
Both are very good reps.
It is all a matter of taste I think. The TG is 44mm and with that bigger than the 3717.

be carefull with air from a can. This is most likely so compressed that it is fluid in the can. I you shake the can or hold it downwards while using it this fluid will come out. it will vapourise very quick but will leave a spot afterwards. Use a little blower for camera lenses instead.
S*it. Got the QC pics on the 15th and they where shipped on the 22nd. Need to wait 7 days longer than needed :-)
