Obsessed with the vintage Rolexes that we saw in an issue of GQ magazine, my friend and I sacrificed our Rolex quartz replicas to build Rolex watches with sweeping seconds hands. This is the result of our labour: It is a Timex that was transformed to a Rolex using the coronet from a replica dial and Letraset letters for the Rolex text on the dial. The watch is more than 20 years old. The watch was also "vintagized" so that it would resemble those beloved Rolex watches we saw in GQ magazine. Assuming that these share the same ID and OD dimensions, of the Tropic 17, 19 and 21, which crystal has the lower profile?

Gavidoc, thanks for the wonderful pics. They are a big help! My magnification is bigger than your 1680 with a 127. I'm going to try and source out a 144. I contacted Gary Clark, but he doesn't supply it. Do you guys know where I may be able to find one? Also, are the 2824 and 2784 date locations that far off? I thought they were the same.

I just got my Clark 125 crystals and not only does the date mag not line up with my date window but the magnification is so large that the date nearly fills the cyclops entirely. I'm using the Josh/PC 5513 case. Is there any other crystal to try?

VRF doesn't allow somebody to list their item as NOS without proof.
