Hello guys, Just wondering what sort of gold plating (quality wise) and (technique wise) is done on a Don Ramon. What if I want to have a little Franken project of my own, not in terms of adding gen parts but in terms of increasing the aesthetics of the watch and get it gold/rose gold plated from a jeweler. Would that add life to it?

When did you get your V3?

If you are asking about the font on the dial ... umm I am not sure to be honest.. but I think you have a point there it could be stamped... Does anyone else know about this??

Yeah very much so ... only thing is that I haven't actually seen a V2 ..but I was reading somewhere that thsi current version of V3 has been modified a little with shorted length of pushers ( which was a major concern for me) the "1"s honestly can not even be seen so dont worry about the flagpole thing. Apparently V3 has a better case the bezel engraving is excellent and also the dial is crisper with correct dial colours and hands colours to gen. If only someone could do a side by side comparison of latest V3 and V2 it would be great.

Let me know too bro I really wanna learn leather works for small articles specially straps..

I normally get my suits custom stiched and have very similar lining you mentioned along with the mobile pocket. ... will probably need a full portfolio shot of urs with the MK when you get it (ah with the new strap) So do you make straps urself? is it a hobby? or will you get it made from somewhere? I am really interested in leather works myself at a minutiae hobby level

As far as dealers is concerned mate there is a whole section dedicated to them.. the dealers who are given the status of Trusted dealers or TDs are all safe to buy from.. time to study and get to know the forum layout a bit better. others will put in their feedback soon I am sure
