Ah I dint know that ... to be honest with you I am still learning about the mods and the jargons associated with it. But by the sounds of it ..it sounds thats the way to go. The Wise old man speak gold again --- I think I am rep to frankens. Just going and buying a gen from a shop is not a fair deal!!.. the pleasure of wait and the journey of making a franken step by step would give more pleasure. And I think it doesn't stop there one still keeps getting the juice of the hard work in the form of compliments and appreciation when one wears the watch.

Very nice watch..wear it well. Do you think the date numericals on Rep are small in font as compared to the Gen. I noticed the numbers ob the gen fill up the whole date window and are bolder then the rep.

Nothing wrong with that wat44. I agree. But what I know intellectually just does not justify my heart ! lol I think its about the satisfaction of knowing you have the closest mechanism to gen is what many members here really want to do. Great looking watch though

My GOD!! u killed the picture department mate!! Excellent pictures and insight there Zorro. I think this one will definitely become a sticky! Thank you so much for all the effort you have put in. Further to your observations I think the engraving in general is a little bit lighter on the rep whereas on the gen its more intense. Also the AP on the crown on the gen is quite prominent whereas on the rep I feel its more of a 'laser printed ' type. The strap on the gen is very very sexy indeed. I think it has more red wine touch to it as compared to HKTAN's darker brown colour. The stitches however match the respective colours. But like you said the rep is beautiful piece of art. Enjoy both of them ..( I once was dating a twin )

Whats is the next customary thing to be carried out before I have the honor of wearing the watch. I was thinking more like the AR and lume and the sunken hex screws? Also who would do it? AH almost forgot the servicing!

Zorro thx.. I meant the numbers from 1-12 o'clock. I think ur right about the hex screws they are smaller on the gen and I personally think it is noticeable. Wonder how they could get that wrong. But congrats on the new gen wear it well.
