  1. This is just AMAZING... Thanks once again, T!!!
  2. Here you go, mate! Though the single ar is light, i feel that it is subtly doing its job... reflections aren't that bad... hmm.. Maybe it's due to the curved crystal...
  3. Nice angle you took the pic from dude! One thing to note, don't you find the single-sided ar is a tad too light?
  4. Well, what i can say is that YOU, By-Tor, were the one who inspired me to get the SMP rep... which in turn inspired me to get this updated model! Thank you for your kind words... & i agree fully with you that the classics are wise choices... Thank you also to all the others who have commented on here too, appreciate it lots! Oh.. & it's running at +3secs/day since sunday...
  5. Thank you for your kind words, my friend... I'm defo gonna dive with it one day too...
  6. I too, took the plunge on the 2220.8 0 yesterday... Just posted a short pictorial on it earlier. A real beauty I must say, it really grows on you with each passing moment of wearing... Good luck on your Super-rep!
  7. Okay peeps, I am gonna keep this short. Prior to this purchase, I had 2 Omega reps - the 2nd gen SMP & the 4th gen 42.5mm PO... After procrastinating for a week after I spotted this immaculately-maintained beauty (this August, it will be a year old) at a local pre-owned dealer, I finally took the plunge yesterday... And boy did I fall in love with it the moment it sat on my wrist! I knew that someday, I'd succumb to the temptation of getting a gen... But I am going on record now to state that I am not gonna stop collecting reps! RWG has taught & given me so much knowledge about watches... I guess that the decision to get this beauty was a culmination of the invaluable knowledge I gained throughout my stay here (though one can never stop learning!)... Well, it is such irony that I decided to get a genuine watch because of a replica forum, though! Alright, enough of my crapping.. Here are some quick & dirty (and crap quality) shots of my very first genuine Omega... Just dust/fabric on the '20' bezel marking... Kindly excuse the reflection from my flash here, I'm really crap at photo-taking... A lame attempt at a lume shot... Hope you all enjoy the amateurish pics... This purchase has made me love Omegas even more!
  8. What an exceptional watch, Ubi! Wear it well, my friend...
  9. Congratulations on your SMP dude. Wear it in good health... I'm looking to buy this gen pretty soon too.
  10. Now I may have good reason to get the LV!
  11. My utmost respect to an oldtimer...
  12. I bet it doesn't smell like the gen i got off its_urabus... really sweet!
  13. Absolutely... especially in salt water... for almost SEVEN decades!! If this was true, then Rolex watches are [censored]...
  14. Very much appreciate this invaluable input, The Zigmeister.
  15. I don't think i can bear to part with my watches... for now at least... They've all become a part of my life... As what deltatahoe mentioned, they're all like my children...
  16. Continuing the Rollie theme here... My new YM noob from AJS... Ubi my dear friend, if you ever get tired of one of your daytonas...
  17. My latest acquisition from none other than ajoesmith... Noob Yachtie c/w dg4813 movt...
