Trusty sells the same watch with apparently an ETA 2836-2 movement, so there is a good chance it'll fit the case, although for the price I doubt I would worry too much about changing the Asian 2813.

I'd just like to add that the site seems to be offering gen watches and rlx cases etc. I just don't know if it's legit!

Josh currently has a $108 explorer with free shipping. I'm keen to build a franken of one of these watches ( Thank you once again Ubi for your help! ) But i'd like to get a "feel" for the watch first, i'm not expecting uPO standards, but do any of you guys think this is worth it for a look? I also have a spare ETA 2836 movement which I know won't fit my franken when it's built so I was also wondering if that would fit in place of the Asia 2813, although I wouldn't bother unless the movement died All opinions are most welcome!

An emergency bivvy bag, here's one on ebay mate, 310084383871 that's the ebay number for you to have a look. They can be a real lifesaver, cheap, emergency shelter, even for storing kit and they usually have printed survival instructions on them too

If your chosen collector guarantees, and is happy that you have it verified that the movement is Swiss ETA (2824-2) Then the only visual mods are Chief's/K2222's A/R coating, a lume job and the symbol replaced with the correct one ( which silix carries). This of course still leaves you having to have your uPO serviced ( absolutely necessary in my humble opinion) Hope this has been of some help

As has been pointed out in a previous thread, the amount of different watches that could be produced FROM ONE SINGLE GOOD SMP case design would earn money for a factory/dealer which in my opinion would equal or even better the profits gleaned from WM9 or MBK Sub due to the varying Omega models which would fit such a case. All we need is the correct case! Build it, and they will come!

Is there any news about a new SMP case being made? Considering the revenue a CORRECT case could bring to a factory, surely one of them must be considering. All opinions welcome!
