The problem is that the hue of the ar is too blue. It is double sided. And no, the datewheel will never be fixed. You need to install eta datewheels.

i wish you luck as well man. 1680 are always going to be a classic. im in the market for some kind of vintage rollie such as a 1680. as ubi mentioned, the price can creep up on you. make sure you keep this watch if you spend 3k. i have another question, why is the phong case so expensive?

i agree you get what you pay for. it all depends on how you are in this hobby. if you just an innocent sideliner, then yes go with cheap stuff. if you a hard core enthusiast, then we go for more practical movements like the eta. but then again, expensive is relative to one's self.
