The newer asian 7750 have regulators I believe the chopard was the first to have this and quite a few have since followed
-
My guess would be one It is likely bought as a regular asian 7750 and then in another factory where they make the AP watches or maybe elsewhere they assemble this added module to make it run at 12.

I have been comlimented dozens of times (40+ unique times I would say) Everyone except for a handful were just the Nice Watch variety, to which I respond Thank You and end the conversation about said watch. The changes of a stranger wanting to have a long conversation about your watch, its brand, history, if real or fake are very slim at best. if you complimented a women on her dress would you give a dam how much it cost, where she bought it, designer name, etc..? No, maybe you want to know how it looked on the floor but other than that a compliment usually is stating that you notice something not that you want to know more about it. If someone said to you nice car would you say it is a 200x, brand x, limited edition, x paint color that you bought at x and x dealer. If you talked like that you would end the conversation and any future conversations pretty fast. If the other person cares to know more they will inquire. The handful of other instances I recall were close friends and they just wanted a better look at the watch, so I let them hold it and try it on. Again I didn't say anything, they didn't want to hear anything. Any other type of lengthier conversation would mean they are as into watches as me, and then I would say it is a rep and maybe that would spark a new conversation with both parties interested, As I stated the chances of that happening in everyday life are not high and not something I plan my day around.

Not that $750 is chump change but if you want to pull off a $75k watch you should have some money available to buy the rep and pay for servicing That would run you 1 percent of the watch value and run for a few years Personally I would never be able to afford a $75k watch so I don't plan on wearing the rep
-
Yes the trend is to rep the newest models The gt has been out for a few years therefore little chance we will see a new rep There are a few flaws the flaw you mentioned can best be solved by getting a white dial version of the rep While the white dial still has flaws it is hard to spot the bezel thickness that is obvious on the other dial colors

looks pretty good but damn why can't they darken the red datewheel The bright red date screams out Would be better if black if they can't get the dark maroon cool that it is a true 30 seconds chrono and seconds at 3

Sfso I thought the cheaper Asian one came with mineral vs Sapphire for the Swiss? Either way black or white most accurate Bce Black dial or graphite is most accurate -

Open warning for all sec@12 ROO lovers

Just to add, I was 2 for 2 with AP ROO Seconds at 12 received and stopped working. Both were fully serviced no parts or anything but a full service. Both now work great with really long power reserve to boot. As Pam1a mentions makes this expensive rep even more expensive when you add the cost of a service. Bonus is if you can have someone lume the watch at the same time you will be pleased with the finished result. -
Most important thing to look for / demand that it has is the upgraded datewheel. Some dealers will call this V3, others V2 with upgraded datewheel. Unfortunately I do not think all color dials are available with it, but I could be wrong. The standard datewheel sucks and finding a good lello one is a pain, so this really is most important. I would even get a color that was not my top choice for the datewheel aspect. Or troll the FS threads for one with a working lello datewheel.

Thanks for the tips guys I will give it the brush technique tomorrow and if that doesn't work I will see what bleach in small quantity will do

White ceramic bracelet is showing some dirt and don't know what is safe to use to clean this watch Wife's watch, have a mini ultrasonic cleaner but that did not seem to do the trick Is it safe to use polishing cloth? Would that do anything? I have cape cod cloths How bout dishwashing soap and hot water is that safe?

The Zigmeister disagreed with this analysis and felt if serviced the watch and movement would work great Just add a servicing into the cost of the watch difficult to do given the already high cost but itnis needed -
I don't mean to sound like a jerk but I am skeptical of the quality of your rep if the bezel fell off There are a few models and different bezels so a picture would clear up some things If it is a high quality rep it may be worth sourcing the part if not I would get a new better quality bentley rep

Have heard that Breitling hands are a PITA to take off and put back on. Gen and rep. Not sure if true but someone told me that at the Breitling service center if they take off hands they toss them and put on new hands becuase even the gen hands are a pain to work with. Other modders have voiced displeasure with rep Breitling hands causing issues when removing.

review of my first rep, Skyland Avenger Black Steel
rogerthat replied to nevikwen's topic in The Breitling Area
Don't get too discouraged The a7750 is a solid movement but like most things that don't get much QC there will be some duds The positive spin on it is that when pronblems occur they usually happen in the first couple of days -
AP ROO: Gen vs Rep Comparison
rogerthat replied to LegendofSpeed's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
Fantastic!!! Thank you for sharing. They did a great job repping these clearly, there are some flaws we can see now thanks to the posting of these pictures. As you mention the crown position, cyclops, crown guard shape and size... also I noticed the caseback is much thicker on the rep, the gen date is much magnified. Based on the pictures althought the gen claims to have no ar the crystal seems much more invisible than it does on the rep, at least in the 2nd photo ; maybe it is just the lighting? I have been a big proponent of chief AR for these watches, have 1 done and nother being done and I think the rep would look better with chief AR than no AR at all. How are the screw heads on the bezel, do they seem the same between gen and rep? Does the rep have the same brushed finish on the metal case up close as the gen or can you notice a difference with them side to side if looking closely? You will be delighted when you get your AP back from The Zigmeister, it makes a big difference to have that gen-like lume on this watch. Thanks Again, -

Thanks Guys. Importr is very knowledgeable and got most all mods guessed correctly, couple of minor additions. Excellent stuff! Let me guess: Bentley GT: AR : yes, chief's ETA d/w's: yes gen croc & buckle : yes plus: dial and hand relume ETA Swiss movement Evo: gen dial: yes gen bezel?: yes gen bracelet? : yes plus: Lello datewheel, chief AR, hand relume to match gen pearl and the ETA Swiss movment.

Thanks Chief, watch pictured has your handy work as well!

Strap is gen. You should be able to get at any AP Boutique (bring your wallet though)

Not sure if anyone has ever photographed a safari strap on a white thames before, but I love the combo.

Took a couple of new photos that I thought I would share.
