  1. DW has them. I just ordered a set and he sells them individually E
  2. Freddy, that's down right Vampire lethal! Nice. I love that dial !
  3. I really don't need more projects. Honest I don't.
  4. That's what I thought. Early run 5512 and some military subs as well as the early 7928 Tudors. Now, I'm sure the square guard 5512 will have a gilt dial. I would love to see this. E
  5. It's the lighting in the pictures. Make sure you match the lume in the hands if you only use the minute hand
  6. Freddy, I am now experiencing a very similar issue with the 6239. Was the spring correction a solution to the problem? E
  7. I always thought that was a reflection. Thank you so much for making that observation.
  8. Ofrei sells the pump pushers also. Just in case. Also, I know it's not needed, but a bit of GS glue/cement around the crystal base may be a good thing for added water tightness. Not much, just a small trail and wipe the excess. Ofrei was out of their T21 so now I'm waiting. Looks good man. @ Freddy, ever seen a real PN dial without the blacked out indices? Just curious. E
  9. I believe so
  10. Scope, Got the same dial. I am leaning move towards this build with the metal bezel(as I'm getting my 7031 soon) and using this dial. Love this dial when compared to the white exotic. E
  11. Thanks man. Nice very nice.
  12. @Zeleni Thanks man. I like it on the grey NATO stap. This watch I bought last year in May I think. It was to be my "experimental" chronograph watch. I bought it to learn about the movements and cases and pushers and all little intricacies that make these chronos work and be so damn cool. The movement is the Lemania/Seagull ST1902 with the hour sub-dial following the hour hand. Same movement Chiman is selling and the same movement type he did the review/DIY on the 6 o'clock sub-dial freezing. I haven't done this yet, as it never bothered me, but would if "necessary" Took me more than a few months and trials to find this crystal(BTW, Ofrei won't take back crystals once the package is opened ) But I think this is it. The watch comes originally with a mineral glass rounded top crystal that, although looks great, cran scratch and doesn't have that plexi feel. This one almost looks better than the Clark's I have on the 6239 and has a slight "jeweling" effect. The case I'm selling is also the same case with same serial number. Reason for selling, have too many damn watches already. Need room for the 7032 that i'm going to put together and alost done with the 6263 with exotic dial and V23 movement(got lucky on the bay with two movements, the 7734 and the v23. Almost no wrist time for the subs, so a few watches will need to be moved, sold/traded. Have a few Sea-dwellers in the works and also a 3646 with a 2533 Tribuna Omaggio dial that I finished last night(Too many watches I tell you) BTW< what app are you using for the pictures? E
  13. 6263 with seagull movement today. Food a great SK crystal for it. Probably last time I wear it since it will go for sale this week. Freddy the 'tona looks awesome! Cannot wait to finish mine.
  14. They are listed under Rolex generic parts. Only pushers they have for Rolex. The trick is that you need to drill and tap the case. Using new DW ones all you need is to use loctite
  15. You definitely need the Movement out of the case to replace. Ofrei sells these. Have you sent DW an email regarding this?
  16. I'm getting one of ofrei's GS t21s to try a fit and see what they look like. The Clark's t21 DOES NOT fit without trimming. If you polish the DW crystals up to .25 microns in session from 1micron down it actually adds a bit of that "jewel" effect. I'll have to take a picture tonight. E
  17. Beano's watch is pretty decent as is. I like the dial. Maybe change the coronet as some have done later on. The bezel insert shouldn't be a problem as it adds character and overall the watch should be 40+ years old anyways. A bracelet will be nice for everyday wear to formal. Personally I like a nice bund strap in it. Good catch for sure. I'm finishing one of mine soon. Too many projects dammit
  18. All good food aside, while in Thailand, where does one source parts?
  19. Looking good Eric E
  20. Alli, The hand sizes are odd indeed. Hand size for this movement runs 85/135/20. If anyone knows where to get Benz hands that fit let me know. BTW, this is not a "ladies" watch movement as it is 11.5 ligne
  21. Alli, I'll let you know an thanks.
  22. Wearing the seiko today but will be wearing this tomorrow (if I get the parts in time )
  23. Awesome picture zeleni!
  24. Stop guys. C'mon. This is a loooong build. Parts not getting fitted quick enough. Other projects getting in the way, school, work, etc... Duke is truly a saint. No lies. Allowing me to test fit, experiment and in the process learn together. Yes, it would have been quicker and probably cheaper to pay for a higher end rep, but still wouldn't have that "thing". Still have to try out the "rehaut shave" to see if it brings things more into a better perspective. Because of the extra case, I can play around with that until the cases get the lugs drilled. Duke's build will get a full step-by-step pictorial with gen crown setup and the like. I'm going the worn every day route and the faded insert, salted look will be the theme. I have to admit, after all of this "experimenting" I can say the 666 is one of my favorite watches(gen and the like), preferably the matte dialed early ones. Yes I do have an early 1665 DRSD build, but there are always little things about that one that "get to me" hence why I took it apart and waiting for the right "frame of mind". The case for the 666 is truly well built and the thicker profile is still not too "Hulkian", but rather just right. Soon I will have to let go of a few projects and builds to make wrist time room for these grail builds. I guess it is part of that learning curb(If anyone has a decent 5513 dial for sale or trade - for the 5514 pre-comex -, please let me know. By decent I mean decent worn shape and price ) Now, if only the factories would make a decent 93160 bracelet, it would be soooo nice. Heck, I am sure Gen owners would love to replace their worn out gen bracelets and leave those gen 93160s for a ''special occasion" and still keep their gens on an oyster strap. Now Yuki has SSD dials listed in gloss and matte, yet is lacking that 4000ft white dial in matte finish with ETA feet that will make soooo many of us happy. Things do move along and the key word here is patience. Networking and not being shy or proud. Humble approach to a project and DEFINITELY NOT being afraid to ask any question.
