---Update---This has been a long project for sure. Still waiting for lugs to be drilled and this should be it. Found a decent diver's extension(gen) and added that to the sterile 93250 bracelet(best fit I could find) and searching for a gen clasp now.
Found the ST6 date wheel and placement is correct for these watches. It is a Sea-Gull movement so the quality is there. The seconds hand is going to be a Bi@tch to source, as it is rather small.
I'm building Duke's using a gen ETA instead and using a date wheel similar(Disregard the lume dust this will be cleaned on final assembly).
Lume shot after 5 minutes(exposure to UV light was for 30 seconds)
I have a 2873 movement right in front of me and the only thing different from the 2824 is the stem, and the dw change setup. Other than that I have transfered the auto-winding, hour/minute pinions, etc. the Keyless is nearly identical. Now, this is the 2873, not the 2783

I have a 2873 that I use in a 1665 and the movement is very good. Beat rate is correct I believe and all parts interchange (dials hands, etc) I bought mine on the Bay, but had to take the whole thing apart and clean/oil as it was not as described. it did "run" when I got it though. Be leery of descriptions.
I did, but I wonder how "bad" the DW units are. I mean, they have the correct gaskets and if lubed, these should work just as well as any other(I think)

Getting all of the parts together for my 7031. Currently cannot find a black 7031 bezel anywhere(well, for a decent price) Does anyone care to trade an SS bezel for a black one? Also, swapping the pushers for gen ones. Is this a necessary change from the DW ones, or mostly just OCD and Frenken needs?

That's what I mean. There's a picture of a PN 6239 and the crown looks bigger than 6mm more like 7mm but the shape is more like the 700 crown and has the pump pushers. When I get home I'll post it. Thanks Freddy. E
Speaking of pushers and crowns(hate to thread crap) Is it correct to have a 702/3 crown with pump pushers, or were the pushers also changed with the tube/crown service?
Has anyone tried the 4mm water proof pump pushers Ofrei sells for their 6239 cases? How do the DW pump pushers hold in the water? I like the looks of the pump pushers, but don't to ruin the watch with sweat or rain water pouring in. I would love to have the watch be at least pool friendly while still keep the pump pushers.
