  1. Oh, maybe I keep reading wrong. I was under the impression that the DW 7032 cases had the wrong pusher layout. Which by M's answer seems not to be the case. Unless I need more coffee Thanks M E
  2. Feliz cumpleaños brother Red!
  3. I have been waiting for pictures from David of a case so that I can decide on it or not. Does anyone have any information on the pusher symmetry issue for his cases? Did this ever get resolved, or does one just have to build the watches with the symmetrical pushers using his cases? Anyone want to trade a DW V72 6263 case for a Tudor one? Thanks E
  4. Not to leave Ronin alone, it's an exotic 'tona Tuesday.
  5. Scope, The 7750 route is the most practical, specially if you are going to put some mileage on this one. E
  6. It literally is like a mm or less of difference. E
  7. I want to ask, since there are no clear definite answer I can find via google, which would be the more correct bezel to use on the PN Daytona white exotic dialed watch I'm building to keep. The Units Per Hour (200) SS bezel, or the 300 Units Per Hour one? It is hard to tell from the pictures with the gator bund strap which one he is using. I am working on the 6263 with black 3 color dial and that is an easier pick to build. However, the one that was and is and has been the grail for me is the white dialed exotic. If anyone knows that will be great. I have both bezels and currently sporting the 200 Units per Hour SS bezel. E
  8. I would love to get my hands on one of those albino dials, or whatever they are called. E
  9. The issue I see with the 7750/60 movement in the V72 case is that the reset pusher won't engage the movement lever to reset. I need to play with the length a little to see
  10. I think that would work alright. E
  11. Someone beat me to the Chiman 6234 dial DW has this case on fleaBay The bezel could be smoothed over Here is the picture of the Raffles bezel over the DW stock bezel.
  12. That crystal looks dead on! I really like it. Looks like the domed 19 not super domed. If you ever want to get rid of it, let me know. E
  13. The pelagos is definitely very very nice. Both this one and the Tudor Heritage are nice. I wonder if one can take a 2892 movement to a quartz rep and have the best of both for fairly cheap. E
  14. Thanks. I dipped the seconds chrono hand in a bit of lume to try and I like it. I don't care if its correct or not I would still like to get the correct handset for the final build stage. E
  15. Speaking of hands and hand sizes, where does one source the best set of hands for these vintage Daytonas? Particularly the large chrono seconds hand? E
  16. Sporting the hybrid 6263 today testing out the movement.
  17. Red the flake looks great man!
  18. I'll try to take comparative pictures tonight or tomorrow. There is no link I can find on his site for it. E
  19. BTW, raffles sells a DJ bezels that DOES fit over the T21 crystal. It is a 1mm smaller in diameter than the DW case, but looks very interesting(old post I know but tried this last night) E
  20. Look for VAT44. He recently built a nice looking watch using an NDT dial and one of the 5513 cases I believe. Speedbird100 modified one of the PT 7928s and it came out great as well. E
  21. My only concern was the date window display. Looks great Justin. E
  22. Freddy, the 6263 case I have I'm quite sure is not for the 7750 movement. It's either for the mystery or the v72. Do you remember I yours had a different serial for either movement?
  23. I'm sure the case backs can be sourced for a price . Now I believe the Comex/HEV valve testing did involve some watches without the HEV as a control test, but I'm willing to bet those were converted to HEV at some point. Now, if Comex And Rolex ever made a chrono with HEV for those testing, now that would have been a unique piece of tooling. Two registers instead of three and more robust/watertight pushers
  24. Again the 6239 on DW steelie until I get the rest of the parts. Aged the case and bezel a bit. I definitely need to service the movement soon.
