  1. Yes it would... I know by personal experience... no problem at all.
  2. What I don't like from MB is that after making the transaction, some days later, you sing on again and the info about your transaction is very limited. In fact, I have no way to see if I did identify any delivery address of my payment to TTK for the MBW watch... any clue?
  3. White... you'll never get tired of...
  4. Could you be more precise? The positioning of the watch seems like any other winder except that is it vertical. Wich watch are you trying to put in? I have two winders and in one of them my Breitling Superocean doesn't fit, because of the size (touches the winder door crystal).
  5. I've a couple from them and very very good (unfortunately I bought them at eBay and paid 30$ + shipping!) You only need to be patience... and expect some mistakes (gold instead of white, closed 6 & 9 instead of open. If some of you are desperate I may resell on of the ones I have extra...
  6. I did... it works.
  7. I have to ask my watchmakerr since he did that part of the job, but I'm quite rure he used standard steam from ETA movement. You ahve to press stronger but it nearly rise the case.
  8. Thanks for your kind words but in any case is the camera and not my skills Belive me, after MBW sub (after several mods) I've never had in my hands a better rep. It is even better than Omega PO's. Solid, crispy, beatifoul... near 1:1.
  9. Yes... absolutely
  10. So so... acceptable for a rep but is a pity manufacturer didn't put a good lume...
  11. Dressy day at the office, so...
  12. This another very good solution...
  13. If you're talking about the band, 22 mm. between lugs and 20 at buckle.
  14. Good point... a safe way to save money. I think we are making things more complex than they are... let the people post their watches for sale... if any of us understand is too pricey, ask the seller by PM (as a courtesy) why and state reasons why you think is too expensive... and be very careful about what you say in public... be educated but precise... if you post in public that a member is selling a watch overpriced don't list personal reasons... at last, everybody pay what they want to pay... or are ready to pay... who cares?
  15. Many examples... and many that shows that if you restrict market to fixed rules in terms of economy results are terrible (have a look to east europe markets You don't need a strong control like moving posts to "ghettos"... in the name of... who? Any of us have the possibility to post and advise... but again, what are yo proposing? If a member post for selling a sub and he asks 50 more usd than list price because he serviced the mov... would you move it to a "smell fish area"? mmm... this makes me remember old bad times back... Nobody meant it...
  16. I'm sure if you try you can understand what I mean... free market works als well when you sell counterfeit... in fact, works well (or bad for others) in every business field...
  17. Just arrived from eBay... genuine rubber band for my baby!!! Sorry for the bad pics... taken very quickly
  18. This overlay matchs the ETA datewheel size, sno no big deal. I used a special double side thin tape from my watchmaker. With this tape you can also glue the dial, and by putting severals taped one on top of the other you can make the dial seat higher and allowing the datewheel run free.
  19. Well said ten...
  20. Illegal? Why? Illegal is something that is done out of established laws, and free market I don't think is illegal. A different thing is that we may advise newbies that some item is overprices, but even in that case, it will overpriced form your personal view. You may not give importance to have a watch with a serviced movement because you know how to do do it or have access to some one that can do it, or you don't, so service is a plus you would pay. Please, don't try to be so protectionist... market regulates itself easily without any need of external help.
  21. mmm... you can buy today a modern date, as well as a datejust. Date and Datejust share the same heart. Just a matter of size.
  22. Maybe I'm wrong, but datewheel position is the same in both movements.
  23. Same happened to me. This 16233 has the bold open 6 & 9 font, and almost cober the whole date window. I also have other datewheels from same source (whote background) with thinner and closed font. I think I'll end it up like you, buying a genuine 3135 datewheel. But I can tell you the bold font is not far from genuine.
