I would suggest not turning this thread into a trail to decide if these dealers are honest or not. No discussion at all about it because their honesty is far proved. Said that, they, as every dealer, must be clear in descriptions. And they're not. My a matter of "lost in translation" or whatever excuse you'd want to use. But when I ask for Coca-Cola, I'm not asking for Pepsi. And I don't see any of you asking the barman if the Coke your asking for is really coke or Pepsi in an empty coke bottle. Messages to dealers must be in the same direction: please, use the proper wording, so any of us, no mater our expertise, could understand what we are buying. Isn't it easy?

My sharping friend! When I'm talking about "test" I'm talking about many different things: if the band correctly fits in a PO, if there's no gap between watch and band, if it moves softly once installed... and of course, if the tester knows the quality of the genuine, could also provide us with his opinion on quality of the band. Nevertheless, this last point is easy for me since I had a genuine rubber PO band. I'm sure you know that some 20 mm. rep bands sold by our dealers do not fit very well in the PO 42.5. It's not only a matter of mm.

I need someone of you having a Omega PO 4th generation 42.5 wide with 20 mm. band to test a sample of a rubber strap I've just got today (I don't have a PO yet). I would send it to you and you should send me back some pics with the result of the test. If this works we could make a group buy and buy some of them for a good price. Just let me know! One member of this forum driven me to this link : julesborel They sell "enlargement rings" for ETA 2834. This guy used it for a datejust case and had to trim it a bit but result was ok. I'm going to order but international orders must be of a minimum of 50 USD + shipping. Before to do it I'll try in some big watchmaker malls in town. If no success, I'll order three of these ones. My MBW sub was in the past a daily wearer (plus some Tag and rolex gens) but now my franken 15000 is the king and I think that when I finish my 16233 it will be also another wrint king... It's curious but Sub is time to time getting away from my preferences. No wrist time at all in the last months... Should I sell it? mmm...

Genuine parts do no fit modern MBW 16610 without some mods. But I'm still looking for a genuine insert for my modern 16610 and no way... Ubi... any one lost in your "parts warehouse"? or just a little gen pearl... it's like a never ending history. This is the only thing I need to make my MBW looks like the gen (like...)

John, if you're talking about the modern MBW 16610, then in order to be able to attach an aftermarket bracelet you have to bend first the spring bars, because in this model holes between lugs do not line up straight. I had the same problem with mine and replacing the bracelet is like a master task.
