  1. Nothing... which does not necessary mean that PT lied; probably just didn't know. But dealers must know. It's their job. And yes, this is an ilegal trading world, but even in ilegal business, there are rules.
  2. But PT advertised his DJ TT as having solid gold bezel...
  3. 1.- Clean with soap and hot wather 2.- Apply Tourtle wax and manually clean with cotton cloth 3.- Clean again with soap, hot water using a soft brush (I use a teeth one) 4.- Apply 3-1 oil and leave it inside a platic bag for at least 6 hrs. 5.- Wash again like in 3.- 6.- Polish gently with a dremel using a cotton polish wheel (slow speed) focusing on edges. 7.- Remove cotton dust by cleaning again 8.- Make it shine with a cotton cloth pressing up and down the bracelet for 10 min.
  4. What aboou a new thread like "who has the best tripple wrapped gold"
  5. Never though this thread was so popular
  6. Please; everyone should read this post: repaustria and PT solid gold And now... where is the truth?
  7. Guess you're talking about full 18K gold replicas. Again, 14K gold for some few links in an oyster bracelet is not that expensive. But if with 3 grams of gold you can sell a watch saying is solid and charge like it was, there's a big profit my friend. I just want solig gold to make the watch "live" longer.
  8. Thanks a lot Andrew for stepping on and clearing our minds. Nevertheless, your comments surely will make some of our trusted dealers reconsider previous posts or stepping on also and sharing his true with us. If what you say is true (and I have no reason at all to doubt from you) then I'm starting to understand some unsatisfied buyers related to "solid gold" purchasing. Sorry for being so direct, but it's time our trusted dealers make a final clarification and stop using some unclear phrases when you ask for the meaning of "solid gold".
  9. I'm with you Ken... but I'm so tempted offshore... you're right. I had big expectations with PTsolid 14K and repaustria burned my dreams No good luck for the good man!
  10. While some people is busyy searching fr the "best sub" I'm always seasrching for a reliable TT datejust. I was ner to pull the trigger with PT but the experience of repaustria with a PT DJ stoped me from doing it. Also. I'm lookig for an oyster band since jubilee is to bling for me. Now most of the dealers start selling a new set of DJ advertised as solid gold and with oyster band (wo-mart, bestswiss, king...). And the question rise again (I'm sharing ot with you because I'm lost about whta to do, andI appreciate your knowledge and seuggestions): Is this real 14K solid gold. I sent a PM to bestswiss. My question: "Please, can you clarify what do you call "18K solid gold"? Is it some layers with different K in each layer or it is a solid 18K piece of gold? I want to buy it but need to know this before." The answer: "18K SOLID GOLD 2 TONE BAND & BEZEL & CROWN First layer 5K + Second layer 14K GOLD on the BAND thanks " The watch can be seen here: DJ TT I really don't understand what they're talking about... do you?
  11. Very nice piece! Does the gen carry a case bacl trhough also? Wear it well...
  12. Solid gold?
  13. First of all, you may have had received an advise from customes office, but I don't know in Sweden, but in Spain that's like my mother asking me to clean my room: nothing at all. Another thing is if you receive something from the court asking you to present and declare. Even if you receive a letter or call from rollie's lawyers, the same. You never asked for a watch and there's shoulb be someone with your nme and this is a big mistake. They have to prove you are gulty. Don't forget it.
  14. This Daytona is going to kill Manuel... he need one... ubi, help my friend
  15. What about aligning the pearl in the triangle? I have the same issue in my 4th gen PO. Anyone knows how to fix it?
  16. No "perfect" sub, but the gen. But I don't understand why this watch is called " perfect". Again, marketing is far from reallity.
  17. Montblancs always havethe same flaw: number 6 must be broken and is entire. Also the crown is far from accurate. I would buy one inmediatly if I find these tow flaws solved.
  18. Better to wait for a +AAA product... no problem ubi, Go for it!!!
  19. Which one of the models did you compare to gen?
  20. I'll have to wait... maybe I'll buy a normal Santos in the mean time
  21. Last week at was spending some time at Zurich airport looking watch stores, and suddenly I stoped in front of Cartier store and saw something like the Santos 100's son: a mid size brother. Since I have a very small wrist, this could be the model I could wear, but I can not find it among our dealers. Do you think this smaller version could exist? I would buy it inmediatly. My first rep was a Santos 100 but too big for my wrist.
  22. Count on me for a TT ladies Breit. The one in pic looks great!
  23. Pearl is convex....
  24. Thanks for your input (thanks melvin for your research!) The only issue i my inster is that the pearl is a bit placed to the right of the triangle. the pearl looks good. I'll post some pics to show it.
