  1. Now in search of the perfect Cartier (no more "who has the best sub...") :D Since not all dealers have listed a Santos Cartier (NOT SANTOS 100) I decided to publish this post to see if any of our dealers has a Cartier Santos SS (or TT) which fulfill some minimum requirements: - Correct dark blue hands - Correct dark blue jewel in crown - Correct "Swiss Made" length - Bracelet with screws (no pins) - "Automatic" written in dial See a pic of genuine from Cartier's site:
  2. I took the pic from the official site to compare with the listed watch from our dealers and Joshua seems to be the winner, since is he only one with the correct Swiss Made wording in the right position... but all have missing "Automatic" and the horrible electric blue hands... to easy to spot... Genuine from Cartier's site: Joshua's:
  3. Pug, you have a big wrist
  4. was more interested in standard Santos models, not Santos 100. This too big for mi wrist..
  5. I'm considering the possibility of buying a Cartier rep, normal Santos model in SS. I have Rolex TT and sport watches and I would like something dressy but not much. I've spot this watch last travel to Z
  6. Do it stephane! I've just bought a MBW 1680 but I think that I will trade it for a good GMT... @elprimero: great review... just one point: is it correct for the GMT rep having holes in the lugs and carrying a SEL bracelet?
  7. Congrats stephane! but I'm still wandering if ordering a MBW different from a vintage model worth the extra money, like the GMT... did you have the opportunity to compare it to another one?
  8. I have one brand new from an ETA 2824 caliber.. let me know if may fit yours...
  9. Nice pics... great value for the money as many of the last sub xxxmariner models...
  10. Yes it does
  11. Increase PM usage... sometimes it seems that we love to read our own words in public...
  12. I can... a summary of the article: Breaking news: Posting from Photobucket to MySpace A Message to our Customers Today MySpace made the decision to prevent Photobucket users from posting their videos and remixes to their MySpace pages. This action by MySpace means that all of the videos and remixes you created will no longer show up on your MySpace profile and comments section. More specifically, if you attempt to add new videos or remixes to your profile, they will be removed. We are not happy about this and we

    The MBW Series

The question is: which of MBW's models are worth the extra money (apart the vintages, BTW)? I wouldn't be happy paying extra money for a GMT if same model can be found for 100 USD less in a std dealer... you see my point?
  14. 6 inches is a very small wrist. Mine is 6.4 and I though it was very small. Unless you can not unscrew some screws, you should be able to size it... I have same type of bracelet and I only have two screws still on. I had to remove another 3 or 4.
  15. No big difference with a 40 mm. Smaller, yes, but it is my same case and I can live with it.
  16. Thanks Neil! good to hear it... if you have any chance to check TT Sub, just let me know
  17. Neil... did you get my mails from gmail (plmemavi)? about TT Sub and the possibility of changing my first order (Red 1680) for a white 1680? I also sent you my delivery address since I don't know if moneybookers send it once you send payment.
  18. Read again "Genuine Rolex Bezel Insert (shaved to fit- snaps in without glue)" Insert, not bezel... It means you have to sand a bit (or more) the insert to make it "seat" in the bezel without needing to glue it and letting the crystal rise over the insert just a bit...
  19. Patience...
  20. Ask River and Eddie. Both had this model time a go...
  21. My eastern holidays kit
  22. Thanks mate! same wishes for all RWG's
