  1. It is confirmed by the dealer. Nevertheless, see my first post to check the modifications that should be made no matter gen or rep.
  2. Paypal account is very nervous!!! Willing to send money... and my 15000 needs an urgent operation...
  3. I may be in Ken...
  4. No 22mm. available.
  5. A genuine PO rubber fits perfectly the PO 4th generation. I did.
  6. Steelfish... easier to find, cheaper and fantastic watch.... choose white dial and tan leather band ans SS band: dress and sportive watches (two in one).
  7. Having had some may requests on 22 mm. I've sent the question to the dealer... I'll let you know.
  8. I asked the dealer to cut the pin... I think he will do it. No spring bars but I'll ask him just in case... This is the info NAVI gave to me...
  9. Not in 22 mm. A member at RWI PM'd me saying this is the same band than Joshua is selling and that theres a significant gap between end of the band and case. I'm adding a new pic to show (IMHO) that there's no gap... but I've asked NAVI to make a wrist shot to ensure it is not happening.
  10. Some weeks a go I posted that I made a contact that sells PO rubber bands for 20 mm. and he claimed they fit perfectly a genuine PO 42.5. Since I knew some people in these forums stated that the rep bands sold by some of our dealers did not fit the 20 mm. version, I decided to make a test with this new band to check if it could work for us. I had some issues to solve before: the dealer wanted too much money (around 80 USD) and I did not have a PO. I found a member from RWI who nicely made the test (thanks NAVI, great job) and I discussed a bit with the dealer and finally he gave me a significant discount (35 euros, about 45 USD). Following NAVI test results, the band is of a great quality (I agree 'cause I had it before in my hands and I had a gen one some time a go) and fits perfectly the watch, after some maneuvers. These are: Use thinner spring bars (about 1.15 mm) You may have to remove some extra plastic around the band spring holes (factory reminders) There's a single pin in the middle of the band end (where attach to the case) that must be cut. This could be previously done by the dealer. Apart of this, he band seems great, and if we find a minimum of 20 members (I will post this in RWG, TRC and RWI) the band could be bought by 35 euros and shipping would be around another 5 euros so total 40 euros (around 52 USD). Again typical clarifications: I'm doing this to help forum members save some money... no benefit for me but enjoying if this works good. Payment would by paypal to me and I would ship it by registered mail. No way to pay the dealer directly because he's not taking paypal and also I would not like making publicity of these forums to unknown people. Find hereafter pics of the strap and post your interest in this thread. As soon I have 20 people interested, I will proceed. Black and Orange available, but I haven't had any orange in my hands and I suspect that those colors must be difficult to make close to gen, so ONLY BLACK this time.
  11. I have to make it fit into a 16233 (I guess 90's model). I have ordered a 2836 to compare with my 2824... Let's see. Thanks for your great support guys! Randy: what about vintage datewheels?
  12. I can't imagine a rep factory making only 100 watches, and maybe they stick to selling to one dealer for a while, but not forever. Same thing is happening withy Breitling SFSO, but it will end soon (my guess). Let's asl King and then we will see.
  13. I've always used 2824 mov. for franken projects when using a gen datejust case (15000 or 162XX) following Randy's instructions in an old thread about his franken projects. Now I've seen some comments (sorry not remembering who and where) about using directly 2836 without needing a spacer, and also many datejusts reps are using the ETA 2836. DO you know if 2836 is better than 2824 for this type of projects?
  14. :) Daily beater: BSF (any) Dress: BSF white dial on tan leather strap Sporty:BSF on rubber strap Vintage: BSF on old leather strap
  15. If your BMW is the previous version (you talk about old 2006 stock) forget about it... even you get a fair price you will lose lot of money when reselling. Passat 2007 is a very good car (I have a couple of friends who bought it) and in my view, at list in Spain, is not "plain" car, but very well equipped. Nevertheless, regarding quality, BMW is two steps ahead from VW.
  16. I need these datewheels desperately!!! my 15000 is sitting in the winder very sic waiting for a new life Ubi and Co. please hurry up!.. and thanks for doing this.
  17. Com'n!!! take pics of the Prague's girls!!! forget about watches or I will send you the address of a psychoanalyst friend of mine :D ... enjoy my friend and remember, take care with women and restaurant bills, specially near the river side.
  18. Now I need a rubber strap... 22 mm... anyone?
  19. Donate already done... hope this helps even just a bit. Sometimes we have to give a bit back for everything we receive...
  20. Yes... but the SELs only need to be polished a bit (mainly in the area touching the case). Nevertheless, leather makes this watch looking really dressy!
  21. This will be with me for a long time... not only this weekend
  22. Your wish is my command! Nice strap for a rep. No problem with thickness... I'm not sure if color match the gen... and the buckle seems to be not so heavy as the gen (just talking from pics). Next week I'll go to a AD to check.
  23. Lo haré con una cervecita contigo! (I'll do it sharing a beer together!)
  24. Thanks for your nice comments... I think the white dial is far the best choice to enjoy the beauty of this watch... only one complaint: the bezel has a diameter 0.5 mm. bigger than it should be so it moves a bit from left to right when you push it... but nothing noticiable...
