I have a stron allergy to anything not being SS, gold, silver etc and nevaer had a probem with any rep bracelet... have you tried with anothe rep or aftermarket one before going for a gen? they're expensive...

I had the same watch in the past, modded by Palpatine with gen tube and crown and CG's modded a bit. I sold it and I got repented, so I bought another one from TTK which I received last week. Taking in account that I had this watch modded before, I have it now again without mods and that I have a friend of mine with a gen that I had the opportunity to compare with last weekend, I would like to make some comments to people thinking about making mods to this watch: NO NEED OF MODS UNLESS YOU ARE A VERY PICKY PERSON No way to spot this is a rep while you have it in your wrist. The bezel insert is very very close to genuine in color and brightness. Only pearl may be a bit different but I've been making window shopping in Z

I always be careful about wearing bling-bling reps (unless you don't care answering the question of "where did you buy this rep?") It's easier spot a fake when it is not within your budget... and at work that's easy to know.

Does anybody know if a gen 16610 crown fits a MBW modern 16610 tube?

I had same discussion with my self and I decided to keep only those that I really wear and also those that can not be easily replaced, except if I know I will never wear them again. I use to send for servicing all my reps, and also try to have them in perfect wearing conditions, which cost some extra money. I sold a MBW modded some time a go and I'm really repented so I'm back in he way of getting another MBW and sending for mods (same process) so I will never sell it again, for sure.

ETA 2824 + spacer ring + mid size canon pinion...

But the working mode (hour against GMT hand adjustment) worth the extra money or makes a noticiable difference? 2836, as far as I know is a very reliable movement.

You are absolutely right Steph... I did same comparison and no big difference...

I've been many times near to get one of these... not very common, dressy and sporty... not very easy to spot the rep... enjoy!!!
