  1. And all jokes aside, visit dnaoc. co.uk For frrrrri reps not filips or lorex
  2. Maybe it's an Irish crazy hours? Don't be surprised if the owner decides to offer it to some other lucky buyer as a once in a lifetime opportunity.
  3. There are no rep minute repeaters mate .... at least not mechanical ones - oh this one isn't a minute repeater, nor does it claim to be as far as I can make out - it's just a skeletal Check these out http://puretime-asia.com/category_search/?search_with_change_category_ability=1&categoryID=160&search_name=skeleton&search_price_from=&search_price_to=&search_in_subcategory=1&advanced_search_in_category=Find
  4. Right or wrong that's a very nice looking watch
  5. I travelled with one on each wrist once. One set on local time the other on the destination's. Was screened and no issue once I said why. Had two more in baggage
  6. Looks like something Tommie cruze would wear in Oblivion
  7. I'd love a serie speciale fighters edition. I've waited so long that if even accept a misspelled one. Just hoped a great homage version would've been released by now. Oh well
  8. love the stealth fighter look of it - might be my next timpiece ... in white
  9. Anyone own or driven the Peugeot RCZ? I think they're a very funky looking chariot and wouldn't mind owning one provided I'm not buying a monumental PITA.
  10. If they fixed the terrible spelling errors on the back of the fighters I'd be a very happy man!
  11. I used a lappie for Photoshop for years. Regretted its incapacity for upgrade in the RAM department. Added a 24 inch hp graphics screen and that helped a lot! But, using photoshop autocad and having browsers open etc. really turned it into a slug. Can't beat the flexibility of a nice windows8 machine capable of 16GB of RAM and just chugging along regardless of what I throw at it. An additional 30inch graphics screen and there's no turning back Desktop all the way is my vote
  12. Great chariot mate - and "affordable" in the US .... idiotic prices here but a LOT of car for the money. I am currently considering an S4 cabrio (2006-08)
  13. The only time I have been asked about wearing a fake watch was when I was wearing my inheritance: Breguet tourbillon messidor 263 Just kidding I've never been asked if I was wearing a fake ... But then, I don't wear Rolex
  14. Gorgeous. Blessings to all especially little baby Pam
  15. I would happily pay more than that for an accurate fighters
  16. Couple of things about these pictures - Can't help wondering why a pre-'74 911 steering wheel was used! And .... FWIW (zip) I owned a bb-928 which was a special build, done on the first 928 delivered to the USA - to give some context as to how forward bb were in their approach, we are talking a 1978 vehicle with a complete removable glass roof, pearl white duco and huge open mouthed front spoiler/air-dam. A pair of custom made heated, 6 air-bladder, vibrating Recaro seats enabled the Mrs. and I drive 1800 kilometers with only stops to eat and refuel. Oh, and they rebuilt the engine suspension and exhaust system - it sounded like a jet The guys at bb were radical characters, insane for their craft - nno idea what happened to them.
  17. The Jaguar E-Type Growler concept is possibly the most beautiful car ever designed in the 21st century - even though it pays homage to a vehicle from a bygone era, it is a remarkable looking chariot I firmly believe that if Jaguar produced this "precise" vehicle, it could 'own' the market
  18. Really interesting combo - obviously not for everyone but neither is this timepiece! May we have some more pics please?
  19. @ wallstreet: it was made in ultra limited edition only - but they come up for sale from time to time - most expensive sold was around $1200 with gen strap, box and papers - cheapest was new with crap-strap but still nice for $568 - as stated here, a reseller may still have some though they are not a TD on this forum Here is a little something I whipped up ages ago ... And this one for the Safari, which is another nice offering
  20. yeah the blue is lovely ... and a monumental PITA to match!
  21. WOW - no idea who Ryan is but I hope it is as good as the others .... would be a shame now to produce a budget version of this thing - BTW I have just come back in after 5 solid hours of sanding .... all of my arm muscles are singin' to me!
  22. revisited this great thread because I am in the middle of making a custom case (box) for my Montauk Highway - fell in love all over again - really hate the strap on mine and hope one day soon to be able to acquire one as nice as the one shown here. As a teaser to putting members (poor guys) through the images of my completed watch box, let me say it is being made from: an old church pew and ice cream sticks hope that gets you wondering ... oh and I imagine all members know that there was a second run of these beauties done - was NOT happy about that but totally understand the commercial imperatives
