  1. Well I too must be stupid or crazy to him Tan because I dont sell for a profit the stuff I sell on here I genuinely bought for me, I either don't use it or dont quite like it so I put it up to see if anyone else would like it, I hate to keep [censored] I dont use (a watch a day keeps the doctor away eh lol) this is a community forum after all and most of the stuff sold on here is pretty good for the money I reckon. Apart from you not getting the box in the post mate I dont see why he is so angry about it in his emails apart from what I have already said, he just needs to chill a bit dont worry about it too much though mate life's too short
  2. To be honest T, from what you have said I think you need to man up and get on with it and I don't mean that as it probably sounds on here! If you promised to send the next day you should send the next day period. Why would you say you would do it then not? I appreciate that the trip is a few hrs round trip but you told him that you would do it, not that if the other guy paid you then you would go to Post together. The internet is rife with rip offs and people get nervous very very easily, in saying that the guy you sold to could use some better choices with his emails but hey he is most likely panicking that he is gonna lose some money to you As always on here one thing is true, trust and patience are needed in this game hope the rest of your sales go better for you!
  3. Good set of rollies Z I just wish I had your photo skills, awesome !
  4. I love the Ingenieur, looked around for ages trying to find one and this one came up I think its one of the older versions....but new to me
  5. Looks really good woof Mine is straight from the dealers with eta movement, I am not sure how accurate it is but love it all the same......till I saw yours
  6. Thanks for your kind comments guys from what I gather it's a Swiss Eta movement, not checked yet but purrs along nicely, it's a few years old but to be honest looks like it has been looked after really well. I will probably end up just giving the bracelet a good lube and refinish it, case needs very little work though to get spot on Size 40mm / 47mm inc crown and it wears just beautifully.., The AR on this thing is superb just wish all my others were the same Have a great weekend all
  7. Another day....same watch
  8. Hi Steve, I'm still pretty much a noob here but I have modded quite a few bracelets thus far I followed a great thread posted quite a while ago now re using 'white lightning' which is a bike chain lube, its the easiest and by far the mod for me that makes the most difference in how the watch bracelet feels on your wrist I have a few Gens and I have done the same with them too...goes something like this.. First I remove the bracelet from the watch then I get a plastic food type clear bag and put the bracelet in, add a generous amount of the fluid and start working it into the links making sure to cover the entire bracelet inc the clasp and extensions if they are there, you will see quite a bit of crap come out of the bracelet in the fluid, its the machining dust and crud that doesn't get washed away properly on the rep stuff (but the gens weren't that clean either!) I work it for at least 15-20 mins then I leave it with the bag open to let the solvent side of the oil evaporate away........ Give it at least 5-10 mins then take it out of the bag it will look crappy! It's covered in the waxy residue of the white lightning, just simply grab an old toothbrush, or someone else's if you wish , and put a small amount of shower gel or soap onto the toothbrush, then work the soap into the bracelet giving it a good scrub all over, you will remove the outer wax but the wax in the bracelet links will stay put! Then just give it a thorough wash in warm water.Leave it to dry and then buff it up with a towel or microfibre cloth if you have one.....job done now just refit it and enjoy You can get white lightning on the bay here http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/White-Lightning-Clean-Ride-Self-Cleaning-Wax-Lube-4-oz-/230775079976?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35bb444428
  9. Just got a new addition to my keepers box......love it already Excuse my photo skills guys just wanted to share this one and thanks to a member here, a great guy for letting me take it off his hands, I'll look after her mate!
  10. 'In all honesty though, the chances of someone asking or even noticing what you're wearing is so slim, it's really not worth worrying about' I would totally agree with that Rolex or Omega are a good choice but stay away from the UPO version if you have smaller wrists, in my opinion the 42mm would be great though! I do have a brand new Seadweller for sale too if your interested
  11. By no means an expert but so far I have a few Rolex in the watch box, by far the most used by me are my Bk Sub and my no date Sub, the Bk I bought on here from another member for under $400 the no date from Trevor for under $ 200
  12. Amazes me every time I see these that people actually bid thinking they are gonna get a Genuine Rolex

Good on ya Ken best place in the world.........
  18. Having had the Gen before the rep I would say don't bother either with the Gen bracelet the look, feel and wear ability of the rep is really great once you work it a little. Like the guys have said to you already give the thing a good clean down and polish and it'll feel a million times better, mine did I use White Lightning on mine its bloody awesome stuff and last for ages!
  19. Love Ebay too great for bargains and yes I bloody well hope he does win on his shill bids! Some people have no spine mate
  20. Bloody hell, how many bids can you make up on 1 Auction you would have to be mad to bid on this one well spotted !
  21. I have just had a good chat with the seller and tried to make 'her' see sense to no avail I might add she still insists it is Gen Not my money fortunately but like you say 'some people don't deserve their money', gotta say it 'there's one born every minute' though! Leave it to the gods on the bay then
