This is all very true he has been building all my super reps since I was not able to drive. He's extremely honest and very straight forward you don't find that on these forums these days seems like its every man for themselves.
Another franken built by mymanmatt! I have to say I've sent out watches for modding before and none come close to this mans years of expertise and he's only around the corner from me on to the specs!

Lets let the pics speak:
Just aquired a jackjo SSD from a great member and was curious to know about the bezel assembly. I have a gen insert I want to install on this watch and was curious to know who all has experience with this watch. I don't want to start tearing down the case till I have some insight on what's going on here?
Think I found my jackjo donor watch so guys...what's the story about this watch. Does it have gen construction like a Sean case? Can I install a gen insert? Does it use a retaining ring? Any insight would be so appreciated
Here's what your gonna want to do as I'm building one as we speak:
Dial is ok but TC is better
Replace hands for TCs
Buy a 93160a from TC
Bk DWO is a must
Gen insert
You will have one killer watch after that and you could keep modding of course
Another big issue with a 2824 is going to be the DWO. It will tend to sit very very close to the bottom side of the dial and if your hands need clearing you will end up with date issues
I have small wrists so the largest Rolex I would wear is my sub. I also owned a gen ceramic sub and felt that was to bulky. Nothing sits more comfortable on my wrist then my 16610
Your most likely going to want to use a gen 2836-2 cause the stem will line up a little more center and you will have more room for your hands on the dial.
