  1. Great looking watch there but ill have to agree with panerai. The watch looks as if someone hopped in a lake with the crown out and forgot it. But hey if you love it that's all that really matters and everything else is just simply an opinion
  2. Very good that's the right insert but looks very noticeably thicker so take your girlfriends or wife's nail file and start working down the edge but not to much we want to see those numbers and best way to pop it on is to install most of it by hand by rolling in the insert and when you have that last bit hanging out take your watch and place it on a firm surface and roll the insert on with force and it should snap in. Also make sure you clean the table as to not accidentally scratch the insert with debris. Hope this helps if its still not popping in you will need to grind the metal some on the bezel
  3. Can you get a pic of it just lying on the bezel?
  4. The TC sub will be a better quality as it is made 1:1 and the new ceramics are not. Also TC is aka selling wm9 v4 watches which are known as some of the best reps to date. Hope this helps and good luck
  5. The watch actually looks kind of gen seems like there is AR present and nice right SEL. Also looks like platinum numbers in the bezel but again stay away for obviously this is not a good ad. Buy your seller before your item.
  6. Buy at least 3 at a time for back ups
  7. TC sub is 1:1 and uses the same set up as gen. Your best bet is go get a gen xstal. Expect to pay 60.00-300.00 depending on LEC, AR or lack of such features. Also note that the date window on most rep dials tend to be smaller so your date mag may be correct but the date window may be smaller.
  8. Sure they respond fast and have "live chat" it's the after sale service that will smash your teeth in because when you get something in the mail that's not really as advertised all the sudden they are MIA. My best advice is stick to our TDs they are here for a reason. You will not be dissapointed
  9. This is also a very good point. I'd make sure because it is common to mix up inserts when you have a box full of them. I've sold sub inserts to seadweller owners by accident and its no fun having to realize it when their insert won't snap in
  10. How close is it to popping in? If its almost in then you should sand the insert but if its not in the ballpark your going to have to grind out some metal in the bezel
  11. How close of a fit is it? Depending on difference a simple sanding around the outside diameter of the insert should do the trick if not you may have to modify your actual bezel itself to accept a larger insert as to avoid cutting down the numbers on the insert
  12. I wouldn't worry so much about it. I'd just wear it and enjoy it. When you start playing with chronos setting and resetting...that's when our lovely modders start seeing our business
  13. The Paul Newman Daytona is a seconds at 9 watch plus I'd avoid it as anyone who knows rolex will tell you it's worth 30k-100k and you'd have to definitely look like you can back up that type of watch if so then wear it in good health
  14. Besides engraving does anyone actually stamp cases? I don't believe a gen Rolex case is engraved I believe they are stamped which had a totally different look and finish
  15. My gen 3135 is running fast is the v2 going to function as per gen when it comes to regulating time?
  16. Gen case set right? This was in the sales section recently
  17. If its not gen construction then I'm not worried about it thanks guys!!!
  18. Hello fellow members I'm hoping someone can identify this case set. 5513 with all correct markings and very nice shape and good lug hole placement but unknown maker I have a 1570 going into it but I want to make sure it's suitable.
  19. Seems like the bezel could be a little tighter after comparing to an all gen 16610
  20. I've been wearing my super franken Sean 16610 and the bezel assembly is completely gen and was wondering if finding a slightly thicker spacer will tighten things up? Is there different thicknesses for the metal washer if so where can I get one?
  21. Yup it's already on hold pending funds
  22. Thanks ephry73! She's in the sales section now making room for a gen z series sub this xmas
