OK so even with a rolex bezel remover it wont make a difference? I would really like to get my gen insert installed with out breaking my lil SSD which is getting some tasteful mods
I have the latest ultimate SSD and want to also change the insert. I have access to a Rolex bezel remover will this prevent the bezel from getting messed up?
This man builds my super frankens all the time he knows what he is doing He is currently building my SSD using gen crown and insert and movement replaced with gen ETA 2836-2

I wonder if you guys saw a gen V series with a aftermarket bezel if you guys would scream REP! or not lol. I've seen plenty of gen watches with replacement after market parts
I will start a new thread discussing the build and also a comparison to the TW case that I am coming from. also I will post plenty of before, during, and after pics! so keep in tune guys this is going to be one hell of a super franken when its done!
I just got a genuine 3135 movement as of today. really excited now I just need gen hands which are really easy to find in dallas. build will happen this week pics to come.
Actually I played around with different methods and I found the best way to tighten the bezel is to tightly wrap floss around the bezel and get it inside the bezel ring and loop it and tuck it in and presto you can achieve a very gen like feel doing this but beware to not over do it as it can get caught between the click spring and bezel and next thing you know you have a bi directional turning bezel. hope this helps. I believe there are some tutorials here on the sight that goes into more details.
