  1. Hands match perfect to the dial
  2. I'll get some close shots under my light box later
  3. Pretty much the same. I can't believe the tolerance and attention to detail on the new V6s. The brushing has that deep flare at an angle like gens do.
  4. Thanks! It's a true fit all around. Here's a sneak peak!
  5. My rehaut seems to be align perfect and besides I have seen gen subs with slightly off rehaut
  6. I would just order a new cg
  7. Not a bad pick up for a 200 dollars craigslist find! Looks like an MBW
  8. It's with mymanmatt we just need a few more parts to get it going but the gen movement fits and will take the SA3135 hands
  9. Update: gen 3135 fitted
  10. Silly question but how do i leave feedback!!?? I used to do it all the time now I can't get it to work since this new upgrade. Thanks!
  11. Noob is a no brainer. I just received both. Very disappointed in the bracelet with JF. The bezel action is amazing though in the JF but sub is also very good.
  12. I immediately pulled the trigger on the latest sub offering from noob when it came out due to having gen parts parked in my parts bin waiting to attach themselves to something worthy of a franken project. Finally I am confident this is the watch for it. QC: I would have rejected this one for the dial alone. It was not aligned to the rehaut and the date was on top of the window. They said it was the only one they could get unless I waited until after CNY... No thanks send it anyways it's for a super franken project regardless. Unboxing: when I got the watch I have to say for me the first thing that catches my eye is always the SEL fitment. I have to say this is by far the best SEL fitment that can happen on a rep because in my opinion the SEL is on par to gen. There is no room for improvement as it is just perfectly flush. Dial. This is the only thing that bugs me on this watch as a OOTB rep. The dial is slightly inaccurate in its own ways and it came very dusty from factory. The dial feet seem to be ever so slightly positioned to the right causing my dial to not align with the calendar wheel nor the rehaut engraving. Rehaut: This is pretty scary. The rehaut engraving is pretty much perfect. It is done in the same fashion Rolex has done before with double line inscriptions. Rolex also does it in a single line inscription as well. Crown guards: I've noticed some people have mentioned they look a little funny or concerning and I must say they do in the photos but not in person. They look very close to gen when it's in your hands which is good news. The flare of the crown guards are very nice and even. Crown: Operates very smoothly and does not flush to the case which is very gen like. The crown looks and feels very gen. I do not see reason to replace as of now but most likely will down the road. Crystal: Eh.. Get a gen if you can but if not it's not bad. The AR is better for sure and in certain lighting you get that nice "black hole" effect and in other lighting the blue hue is very loud. The LEC is ever so slightly louder than a gen and not quite as nice as a gen under a loupe. SEL fitment: Perfect. That's all I have for that part. Bracelet: The finish of this bracelet is very gen like as well as the screws found on the removable links. They operate with ease and do not bind up like on my V5. My only major complaint is the operation of the glide lock clasp. My v5 operates very fluid like and snaps in nice and firm. The clasp on my V6s seems to adjust very roughly and not very smooth. Maybe some oiling will fix this. SA3135: I can't say too much about this movement yet as the watch is so new to me. It keeps very good time and seems to hold power as it should. Hands go clock wise when rotating the crown clock wise. Date changes very nice and smooth and right at 12. Will it last a long time? Only time will tell. My plan is to install the parts pictured below. I will post pics after its done!

I'm curious to why you say that? This sub is really nice and it seems like a perfect candidate for a Franken project cause let's face it. All OOTB reps are just gonna suck if you're standards are based on precision of a gen. I believe a gen dial and crystal will make this watch an amazing piece.
  17. Because the gen has a red sapphire crystal
  18. Is it possible to have it coated red??
  19. Does this watch come with a red tinted crystal from rep factory or no? Can't find a straight answer. Thanks!
  20. The watch in the pic is extremely bad quality and should go straight in the trash should you ever be sold one. If you visit the trusted dealers in the dealer section you will see many higher end watches available to you as most dealers don't even offer that low of a quality watch. I personally wear a blue dial 116622 yachtmaster (black never has been released from Rolex) with SA3135 (the new sa3135 movements are amazing and are very solid) and I paid about 550.00 for it which is worth it to me as there are very very little tells to go off of on a sharp eye. Hope this helps and welcome to this community of sharp folks and amazing amounts of knowledge !
  21. You've asked for the best yet show us the worst! You have a lot to learn my brother. I would take a look at TC but if that's too expensive or not in your budget look up the JF 116622 that's a great start as well. Buy platinum or blue as that's what is accurate to the real watch.
  22. If only this was in a sales thread hehe nice watch!!!
  23. i have a complete genuine bezel assembly I want to install on a noob 114060 and was wondering what is the best method of installing it? Anyone ever do this before? I don't want to separate the ceramic insert from the ring if I don't have to. Thanks.
