Just recently acquired a really nice dssd here from the sales section (thanks Mark!) everything is great with the watch but I thought they improved the bezel construction to feel more like a gen. Is this the same on all of the latest offerings or is this an isolated issue? Feels like the old v1s in the bezel rotation

I thought the bezel numbers are screwed in? Does anyone sell the individual pearls ?

I dinged my franken pam243 I believe it is a v2 or v3 my question is is the pearl replaceable? If so is it easy to install?

To me a super rep is defined by being of extreme high quality inside and out. Take a 111 for example. The movement in the rep is the same as a gen but taking most Rolex reps and you will find a ETA.

Ya those are definitely not v5 I would go thru a TD and get a v5

I wouldn't call them super reps per se but they are very good and have come a long ways. The sub being the best of course and the newest 4000ft sea dweller being the worst. A panerai 111N is what members consider a super rep. The Rolex reps still suffer minor to major flaws. Minor being that AR on cyclops is bad or dial not matte vs glossy and of course major flaw is the movement. Hopes this helps

Yes both gen. I can't handle reps anymore I'm too crazy on perfection. Even the direction the hands move on a ETA vs. a 3135 make me cringe...too much? I know

Wow! I just bought a gen V series and seriously besides mine being bezel engraved there is nothing to complain about here. Even the insert looks spot on. Congrats on such a nice piece. I may see if TC can get me a green one to preserve my gen LV insert. Good buy

I don't think the reps are disappointing I think the people are too meticulous when it comes to Rolex. The die hard Pam freaks can pick reps apart just the same as die hard Rolex freaks. I actually caught a fake Pam 111 at the IWJG watch show and all the dealers couldn't tell the differences when I was explaining it.
