Nope, it's a 3035 high beat movement.

I'm in NH and can handle most mods and builds. I don't service movements but that's it. For service I have a watchmaker in PA who is rep friendly. PM me! -Brendan -

Just buy a whole TC sub and/or a gen dial already. You're going to drive yourself crazy trying to find the "Best Dial." -
A member here did a review of the black and the blue BP subs and the blue was definitely different...?
-
He has a point though, Sneed... The BP and Noob versions of the blue SubC will be out soon enough and will have a more correct case. That said, I used to have this same watch and absolutely effing loved it! As I understand it's still the first version with wok though...?

does gen sub dial suppose to have thicker binder at 6?
fidhle007 replied to Erict719's topic in The Rolex Area
I just measured one of my gen dials, 3.55 x 1.3mm on both markers. Any difference between the two on a rep dial is a flaw. -
I have a Sean bezel as well.

Anyone have pictures of a TC 16610 with a genuine 93250 clasp?
fidhle007 replied to dan_189's topic in The Rolex Area
Mapman: The sean case is a special animal not available on any of the usual builds. I'm glad you like my build, I love that watch! Its got an SA3135 movement and bracelet, sean midcase and the rest is gen. I'm not totally happy with the movement though and I may sell the whole thing soon... Erict: the sean setup is just a case set and although it does come with a dial it is not superlumed. Omgiv: you have to be VIP to edit. -

We must be looking at different Sean cases, the CGs are longer on mine than anything else I've had and better shaped then the TC case I last worked on! -
The difference you guys are seeing is between the aluminum and ceramic bezels. Aluminum bezels have more flush pearls (Trit and Lumi) and the ceramic bezels have more proud pearls as seen in the above screen capture.

Because it's better... I hate to tell you guys, that's more accurate to the gens I've handled and seen in the wild. I find most rep cases look too "sharp" TC included. -

Which bevels are uneven on yours? I have handled two sean cases (one of which is on my wrist right now) and both have been far superior to the many TC cases I've handled. Not to say the TC isn't a great case, I just think the Sean is that much better! -

A sean case would have been much better for that application. -

Why did you waste all those gen parts on a TC case? -
I need details, is it AWD or RWD? RWD uses an indexed control arm and bushing which is centered in the bushing carrier so "misalignment" is fairly unlikely. AWD uses a round bushing carrier (the same part used on the E30 and E36 as well!) so a bushing could become "misaligned" there too but it is highly unlikely and I've never seen it happen. E46s like to eat front bushings so I recommend replacing them on a regular basis. If you're noticing an increase in "looseness" in the front end, that's the first thing I'd change. I installed '96-99 M3 bushings on my 330xi and it was a nice upgrade although for 90% of the driving, decent stock bushings will be fine. You will want to keep an eye on your rear springs too, they have a habit of breaking! That's the part I replace most often on an E46 these days but that's because I've already changed all the window regulators on my customer's cars! Happy driving! ~Brendan

Exactly. When someone asks me "Is that a Rolex?" I say "Yes." When asked if it's a REAL Rolex I laugh and say "mostly!" Most people who know me well enough to inquire into the genuineness of my watches know I'm a BMW tech so when I explain that I've taken up "rebuilding watches from parts I find on ebay" no one questions a thing. Again though, it's all about fitting the image.

Erict, if you're so afraid of getting called out perhaps you should buy a gen. Before you realize it you will have half (or more) of the gen's value invested into your rep and you still won't be satisfied. Otherwise, wear your rep for what it is and enjoy it. Also, try the search feature! You've been posting a lot of threads asking the same questions over and over and having a been a n00b here once too (not that long ago either) and I truly attest to the wealth of knowledge that is stored up in the archives here. I went from a n00b with a canal st rep to a builder of high-value superfrankens worth several thousand dollars just using info I dug up by searching here. It's a fun game and welcome to the dark side!

You mean 3135. :-) A 3035 adjusts the same as an ETA 2836 or 2824 but sets the date backwards like a 2892. The datewheel advances CCW though so that's the tell anything with a 3035.

My initial reaction was to think "SCAM!" but after some quick research it seems like the law firm in question may be legit. If you have been selling fake stuff on ebay, claim ignorance and if you haven't, you're golden. I'd still ignore it as it seems like a blanket effort by a scumbag lawfirm to scare up some spare cash but you have to do what you feel is right...
