  1. Can't read a matte dial in the middle of the night!
  2. Don't worry, the case will get worked over soon enough if it doesn't get swapped out first!
  3. If you get around to it, is the any way you could make me a COMEX sticker for my 16610 dial? I don't know if that would have to be vinyl or what...
  4. Pretty much all gen except the case and bracelet now: Modern Luminova Dial for functionality and that "RSC" look: Oh yeah, and this:
  5. I hate ordering from him too but for endlinks and such, screw it! The bezels are horrible and don't fit though...
  6. The WSO endlinks aren't bad, I just bought a set for my 16800 and they worked well after I brushed them to match the bracelet!
  7. I thought you did your own servicing? Wow, NM. I was on my phone and it looked like this was posted by MD2020 in 1969. I think Tapatalk is having issues...
  8. I've had a bunch of dealings with TC all exactly like yours, automatico, he's a great guy to deal with as long as you're straightforward with what you need!
  9. So you wanted one package shipped out of the country and one shipped in the country and you think that's not a complex order? Did you ever ship back the duplicate components or are you holding them hostage? You also clearly stated you paid a few months ago so I suggest you figure out which story you're going to stick to.
  10. Yes, one movement was sourced from PureTime as a complete watch and the other was from a member here. I had to combine the two to get reliable keyless works. I miss this one but I have another in process to fill its "shoes" if you will... ;-)
  11. They're actually relumed sean hands. I don't know when they switched but an M-serial should have a pointed 4 regardless of what "looks better."
  12. I could always build another if you have the funds... :-)
  13. Looking good, I'm glad it went to a good home where it will be loved! And thank you for saving me from buying a gen 3135 for it!! Everything gen on that watch should be accurate to an M-Serial sub. The bigger tell on that dial is the spacing on "Oyster Perpetual Date" which is the later version. I have a gen "SWISS MADE" dial with the earlier text spacing and it will be going on my 16800 with a flat four insert for that exact reason.
  14. That's easy, just wear the watch upside down! If he flipped the dial then it would be upside down, no?
  15. I couldn't figure out all this discussion of changing the DW, it's a rotating ring and the numbers will always be the right way up! You *may* have to re-align it slightly as I'm not sure if the numbers center perfectly 180˚ across the dial...
  16. I'm unclear why customs was even an issue if you spend time in the US...
  17. All three watches in this thread give me a semi...
  18. I love it and I'd rock the ever-living sh*t out of that. I think it harkens back to the BMW Art Cars of yesteryear but with a very modern interpretation. Plus, if it's sharpie it can probably buff right off in no time.
  19. I've had to add them in on everything. The lughole cases I use are machined for them though.
  20. I wouldn't bother using that case for anything but shaping practice... That said, that's how I got my start so shape away and good luck!
  21. Clark is the best I've found on eBay, or tubes from my wholesaler which come with all the rings...
  22. I highly doubt they actually have the o ring between the tube and the case... The only reps I've seen built like that are my own builds... :-)
