Now that GW has left the Oval Office he will likely display more conspicuous consumption with regards to his watch purchases much like Bill Clinton did. I expect that GW will be seen sporting a "Texas Timex" now as there is no longer any need to hold back displays of wealth that may offend the electorate. He is a private citizen who will command 6 figure speaking fees and a 7 figure advance for his memoirs. Like him or not he is an ex-President and has opportunities for wealth accumulation available to him. I do not see as a Panarai, Ap or Patek guy. He definitely seems to be a Rolex Yellow Gold Daydate 2 type to me.

This is my new Smurf Sub .. a rep of the new Rolex white gold, blue dial blue ceramic bezel Submariner. This watch while not an accurate rep is my newest favorite and I expect it to get plenty of wrist time for quite some time to come. It has a similar wrist presence to the Yacht-Master and also feels heavy and substantial. The stainless steel does a good job imitating white gold as it matches my white gold wedding band very well. Most rep subs sold by the dealers on this board are good enough to serve the purpose as an every day watch and look close to the real deal. As mentioned there is no "perfect" Sub rep, only degrees of flaws. You have been given good advice by some good members and you should start to research the different models available. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day...teach him how to fish and you feed him for life." I know it is more convenient for you to have your question answered outright but this is a topic that can get newbies rudely introduced to the rep boards. You can discover who has the best sub for yourself if you use the search function and while doing so you can become a sub expert. To answer your question directly I like the Noob Sub for the price it is available at. Other members have different favorites. Also, my standard for acceptable flaws may be different than yours so I recommend you do some research. Cheers and welcome aboard

I have used wire transfer and bank draft for selling and buying expensive watches. I have sold and purchased several gen Rolex Datejusts over the years and not had any problems. Do your homework on your buyers and make sure the draft actually clears before shipping your item. Best of luck.

I changed the straps on my AP's and it made a complete difference in how the watch looks. I like the APBands alligator straps and can only comment on them. I am very happy with the ones I purchased and recommend them for a replacement but they are not cheap. I can't comment on other brands or suppliers as I have no experience with them. Cheers

Least comfortable is my Hublot Big Bang followed by my 45mm PO. Most comfortable Rolex Yacht-Master and Rolex Datejust

Unfortunately it is rubbish. If you have ever seen one of the replacement bands sold by AP Bands you would see how poor the rep band is. No disrespect intended but the rough unfinished backing of the strap in your photo is a dead giveaway of a typical cheap rep strap. That is supposed to be a 20k plus watch and it has a $20 strap on it. That is a nice watch but far from a perfect rep. It has visible flaws.

I like what you have there ... as to the cyclops and the crystal being off ... they look fine to me ... enjoy it, it is a very good looking watch.
