  1. Welcome to the forum maugomez ... I am partial to Rolex so I appreciate your LV. As for suggestions you may want to have a look at BK's section for some shots of the Rolex super reps known as the BK WM9 reps. Cheers
  2. Nice .. very nice indeed.
  3. I opened one up and popped the cyclops off because I just could not stand looking at it. No real improvement as a result but at least I could wear the watch.
  4. I have purchased two in the hope the would be good but not a chance. The best I could do was dress one up with a gen alligator strap. It took my mind off the poor rep for a while. Dani is right about a good rep selling well and I would be up for one but I doubt there is one on the horizon.
  5. God bless you little one ...you will remain in my prayers wishing a smooth easy recovery.
  6. Yes, a very rare Rolex model with an AP reference in the design.
  7. I offer up a prayer for little Ella. Be well soon little child, I pray that you heal quickly and your pain to go away quicker.
  8. Typical ... women complaining ... they can find anything about men to complain about. Just a bottomless pit of needs and wants.
  9. It seems that the older a Jubilee bracelet gets, the more it stretches out and the more comfortable it becomes. I know it sounds strange but it is true. I have owned several older Datejust watches each on older Jubilee bracelets and have found them to be my most comfortable watches to wear. I wish you much enjoyment wearing yours. It really is a first class Franken.
  10. This is marketing hype. If the watch is being plated with gold it can not be more durable than other reps plated with gold. Only the thickness of the plating will determine its durability. The thicker the plating the more durable it will be. Do not be taken in by this kind of marketing hype.

  12. Here you go. Enjoy ... Cheers http://www.jacksontse.com/
  13. You are not alone. Right now my collection includes unbranded watches too. One is a Panerai homage and the other an IWC homage. I am waiting on a B & R pvd homage. I enjoy owning non-branded watches as well as lower priced watches. I buy what I like and wear it. I have gens I like and wear along with a few high priced reps and frankens.
  14. Lani, that is a stunning watch. ... Great photos as well.
  15. The white gold insert does not look like the gen platinum insert. The all SS insert from WM9 looks closer to the gen.
  16. I have changed my collecting to having fewer better quality watches from having many that were hardly or never worn. There are just not that many watches I want anymore after moving moving into a higher price range. I now appreciate that if I do buy more watches I will cut down the time I have for wearing my small collection of favorite. My favorite watches are the four I now own: 1) an all stainless gen Datejust, 2) a gen Oysterdate TT, 3) a WM9 Yacht-Master from BK and 4) an all stainless Lyndon Chronograph. I have a WM9 TT blue dial Submariner that is paid for and will be coming in the future. I will make five my total number of watches then. At five total watches I will still get to wear each one every week so I do not feel that my money is wasted on watches that just sit in a box. I used to own 20 + watches and found I hardly worn but a few regulars. The rest just sat in the watch box. Even when I purchased a new must have rep the enjoyment was almost always short lived as I began to have a new purchase in mind almost imediatly after receiving that last must have. Fewer and better might work for you too.
  17. Thanks .. I was going to ask if anybody on the forum knew the dates because I am planning to buy a couple of reps.
  18. Well done ... thank you .. that was an interesting review
  19. Maxi hand on the YM ... pick up a set for the LV
  20. You are most welcome here ..this is a very good place to spend time. ... come often and contribute much ...
  21. I just started using dry lube meant for bicycle chains and it works very well. No dust magnet problems that came with using WD40
