  1. I am still using the term 'collectors' To the newb: you have been given valuable advice ... you should follow it. ..welcome to the forum
  2. Stick to Two Tone if you must have rose or yellow gold. A Breitling will provide you with good choices if you desire to go yellow. There are a good number of rose gold TT Rolex reps available. All over rose gold can be difficult to pull off. Good luck with this project and do share the final choice with photos too.
  3. That is a great watch...I really appreciate your talent. Cheers
  4. That is a good piece of work. Well done
  5. I completely agree with these sentiments. My wife tried one of these pseudo science cleanses and she ended up the hospital as a result with severe bowel problems. We do not need to cleanse our bodies as they do it on a daily basis already. If we do need assistance with cleansing, then we have serious health issues and should be under a Doctors care. Take care of your self and stay away from crackpot health cures for nonexistent ills.
  6. This kind of behavior is beginning to creep me out ... now why would somebody desire to mutilate themselves like that ?
  7. All I can say is wow....almost fracking unbelievable
  8. Good on you ... you did a great job with that one..though that method vintagizing seems a little risky, but it worked out alright and really did a great job with making random markings... which are just the kind that real long term every day wearing would produce.
  9. Very nice ... "my want to have list" just grew bigger
  10. I have the WM9 YM and it is the watch that caused me to get rid of my other reps....It is really good and I feel that it is worth the price. I am waiting for the WM9 TT blue dial sub. If it is as good as the YM I will be completely happy with it. Whether the WM9 Rolexes are worth it is a very personal thing. All I can say to you is that so far what I have is worth the price to me. For reference... I have purchased over 20 reps during the past few years and none was equal to my WM9 YM.
  11. phoband ... I hope you have every opportunity possible to spend with your son.
  12. gioarmani ... you .. are a good person
  13. Great thread ... thank you for sharing your techniques
  14. I am at a loss for any words to offer any true comfort to you. I am very sorry for your separation from your son. I will pray for you so you might have the strength to persevere. Peace be upon you.
  15. Canada is easy street for purchasing reps. I have purchased well over 25 reps in the past 2 years and not one problem with the law or customs. All have cleared customs and have been delivered to me promptly by my mail carrier. I issue you one warning: never use FedEx or UPS as both those couriers will interdict reps. Cheers
  16. It is a welcome thread to read and then take a pause to remember all that I am grateful for..... I am so grateful for my life here and now which a little over a year ago hung between life and death. I had a very close call with a bad heart attack. I live now and am grateful for life and my loved ones who are here to share my life. I feel your breeze here. Cheers, Lyndon
  17. Wearing my WM9 Yacht-Master
  18. I am a serious Datejust fan, especially the older acrylic crystal models. That is one excellent Franken and I look forward to more photos of future projects. Congratulations on a job well done and wear that beauty with great pride.
  19. Welcome to RWG ... this is a friendly and informative rep forum so visit and post often.
  20. Did not make any kind of impression while you were here so I can not say if I will miss you or not .... or ....
  21. WM9 Sub and Yacht-Master are good options....but expect to pay and wait....it is worth it. Wrist shot of my WM9 Y-M This is the best out of the box rep I have had yet. I am waiting on the WM9 TT Blue Sub on which I paid up full already to bk. Not expected until late Nov 09 at earliest.
  22. Well said ... and agreed it is a clone.
  23. Back in the 1970's my parents brought me a Piaget Polo rep back from Mexico. It was not a very good rep compared with todays reps. From 10 feet it was ok but at close range it did not look like the real thing. The bracelet was very thin which was unlike the gen which had individual links like small thick bricks. I was very proud of that watch even though I was called on it more than a few times. How many teenagers could afford a 20K watch? None in my middle class neighborhood. I got to enjoy it for a couple of months until the gold wore off. I did not get another rep until I discovered RWG a few years ago.
  24. Just saw one of your posts ... your intellect is welcome here ... Cheers

  25. You can win a Paypal dispute and still not get your money back. Seller transfers money to his/her bank account and then removes it from the bank. Paypal can do nothing to get that money back. They will only close that seller's PayPal account until he makes good. So what.
