  1. very nice street! I have the PAM195 Gen. PVD wear it well!
  2. maybe if you move this thread to the "want to buy" section you'll get much traffic Boss. Good luck
  3. It surely is. Great attention to detail. Noob version is quite impressive Thank you Angus!!
  4. What's your budget? I have a pristine nearly brand new BK DSSD 4 sale, with pb Lume and CONFIRMED Swiss movt. (only BK can be trusted on that). Send me a PM if you're still interested.
  5. LOL Extra, you're crazy. Do you think they're up to the challenge? I'm a bit skeptic..
  6. Hey Chinese. REP this! The De Grisogono company was founded by Fawaz Gruosi in 1993 with two partners, one of which had a mother with the De Grisogono name, which they took for the brand. The high-end label is known for luxe jewelry and beautiful timepieces. The Otturatore timepiece features a rotational dial that works 18 times faster than the human blink of an eye. It comes in a 44 mm wide case with 4 corners with an innovative mononphase, dial, and way to tell time. The strap is real alligator and a De Grisogono original. http://youtu.be/a_1TdaP53Ec
  7. Strap made the whole difference. Beautifully matching the dial. Wear it well
  8. I'm going to buy my first Panerai. The only issue is size compatibility.. My wrist is (6.5ish) and I'm considering the PAM188 model. What do you guys think? Would it look too bulky on my wrist? Thanks
  9. I can't believe that no one has noticed the HUGE sized elongated lugs on the genuine, vs the rep which look much thinner, shorter and more like the older 16610 model. It's hard to believe how the Noobfac could miss on such a BIG detail. This is by the far the worse Rollie rep I've seen in a long time, no offense mates, but the first thing a factory should do before launching a whole new model is do their due diligence. had they done that, they would have known that the biggest upgrade Rolex did was thickening the lugs and increasing their size to give the watch a sportier look, with a thicker hour marker, shorter crown guards to show off the crown besides some minor improvements in the movement. This rep is light years away from the Genuine case structure, much less the dial! It also weighs lighter, some members on the forum suggested it be stuffed with plumb pieces or something to increase weight, a desperate endeavor of course since there is not enough room to fit such thing. This was not a 1:1 dissection for sure. Just another stupid chinese joke in my opinion. I hope they fix those very soon. and good luck! Here is a shot of Gen. Notice how wide and tall the lugs are. You can feel their presence in the construction of the case, as the dial and bezel sink in it.
  10. I was expecting a better replication. Far from the 116610!! The lugs are considerably smaller and the case construction is light years away, I'm sorry dude, but it's not a 16610, nor a 116610. I wonder what the hell this is.. wear it well anyway. I hope they fix those very noticeable details very soon. Best,
  11. lol, precisely! but the 116610 is flagrantly not accurate! stick to the older model dude. and if you can afford to throw some $800 on a rep. then get the WM9
  12. Oops.. lol I didn't know that. So maybe I should stick with a Swiss movt. And look for other similar chrono models? (Pam188 or 196) But is it true that Swiss 7753 is very sensitive to winding which could break some inner parts of the movt. I guess I read something similar on te forum. I know that you don't even need to wind a Swiss 7753, but it's good to know. Thank you w0lf! Thank you txcollector
  13. Wow awesome news! Do you think it's gon' be available in Swiss movt.? Thanks wolf
  14. Alright Blue. I think it's worth a shot. Who's the best lumer around? Thanks for the heads up buddy. Much appreciated
  15. Thanks for the advice Sneed. I wonder what factory makes them. I love the dial! Imagine if we could put this dial on BK's sub. The result will be awesome. Don't you agree?
  16. How could you tell Chef? You mean from the way it's reflecting things around it? Thanks
  17. Lol, not at all Blue! Please express yourself freely Well he's asking $340 plus shipping for it! He claims it's a Swiss movt.
  18. Thanks for the heads up Blue! Well I have a BK's DSSD that was relumed by PBdad and the dots are still daunting.. Maybe I should have asked him myself to make'em bigger? Any affordable solution for the pearl? Best,
  19. Rolex Gurus, check this out. The hour markers on the dial look far more accurate than Bk's to be honest. BK's has the thick rims metal contours while this looks very close to gen. Also the bezel sounds very firm and gritty, not like other models that I've bought from TDs on the forum, where the bezel always seems to be very loosened and not fastened enough. Can you please elaborate? Thanks http://youtu.be/UWmOxpuKEcM
  20. What about the new 116610 and 116619 models? Any chance we could improve the dial of these new Submariners? Not necessarily a gen dial, but rather a more accurate one that can be procured by our TDs and fit an ETA without breaking feet gluing parts etc? The thick rims that contour hour markers are still a big disappointment for me. I can't believe that factories are still unable to get this right! I think BK has the most accurate model as of yet, but still miles away from perfection. Any opinions mates? Thanks! BK Rep vs. Gen: And
