  1. lol.. relax folks.. was just giving my personal opinion Thanks Calatrava for such valuable overview on PP. Cheers,
  2. I heard of a recent version, they call it: Submariner Supreme. It's believed to be the most accurate Submariner rep. ever. I saw it on one of the forum's TDs website. it's offered at a daunting price of $500 PLUS shipping. The new model has Correct 2.5 X Date Magnification + Correct Date Font with closed 6 and 9 Any opinions?
  3. I heard of a recent version, they call it: Submariner Supreme. It's believed to be the most accurate Submariner rep. ever. Any insights? Cheers,
  4. It's no secret Red Andrew has it. You may check on his website
  5. At least the Submariner is an iconic legacy, and it's Automatic. Besides, Rolex is more than a watch. You're talking about the undisputed Crown of Achievement I've seen very basic PP Quartz Calatravas in preowned condition selling for $6k and above on eBay, I wonder what PP GREATEST achievement is other than pumping auctions and buying back their own models to be displayed in their PP museum in Geneva. Still unjustifiably overpriced to me.. Best,
  6. Nice collection, but the design is very simple. How does a gen. like this justify the very expensive price I guess I'll never get a convincing answer..
  7. Beautiful piece.. Keep a close eye on it buddy, and good luck with bidding.
  8. Red, what's the thickness of this beauty? According to Cartier website, they come in two sizes: The medium 44.2x36.95 mm, 13.30 mm thick & the Large: 51.1x42.6 mm, 15.3 mm thick XL is only available in Chronographs How thick is yours? Looks a bit thin from my angle.. Thanks for an awesome review btw.
  9. I second Val's Q. Do you get head turns on this beauty? Also where did you outsource the bracelet? Looks nice on your wrist
  10. It's true! And very noticeable
  11. I was thinking the same
  12. I knew he was pulling the modesty card on us Exquisite timepiece by phenomenal lenses.
  13. Can't thank you enough fender Items ordered. Will post before and after pics very soon. Cheers!
  14. Acute observation DuD, you're totally right. It's mostly how it sits on your wrist. I saw it adorn bigger wrists then mine but was appalled by the number (45mm). I had a beautiful Gen. Breitling Chronomat Evo. (the two tone C13356 43mm 18K Red Gold version with blue dial) and it fit nicely. Had to sell it on eBay for an upgrade..
  15. You guys rock! Thanks for the generous replies and valuable opinions (especially those supported with pictures). I just love that Sky dial, probably the best Breitling Rep ever made too.. The watch has a sporty character of its own. Guess I'll just go for it
  16. So? any updates?
  17. Hey Shenns, the Navitimer is 44mm What size is your wrist? Best,
  18. I have a relatively small wrist (6.5 inches), and although I heard many people say it's great since it gives the body nicer proportions and makes your arms look bigger, it's definitely not helping with my selection of diving watches. I saw a nice Genuine Breitling Avenger Skyland (45mm) on eBay the other day, but if it's gonna look bulky then I guess I'll just pass on it. I need your opinion folks before taking hasty decisions. What's the best Breitling (Preferably a Chronograph) to match a small wrist? Two opinions are always better than one. NB: I own a Rolex Sea Dweller, it's 43mm according to Rolex, and it looks nice on my wrist. Thank you
  19. nice match! love it
  20. The cockpit and chronomat evolution no doubt.
  21. too small. The Cockpit has a a 41mm face. BCE is 43mm
  22. Thanks for the valuable opinions folks so do you know of anybody here whom I can assign the job to? and has anyone used the 3M sponge? I was doing my homework and read about it in some forums..
  23. There are some minor scratches on my 2 year old DSSD and was thinking of having it buffed. Does any of our trusted dealers here offer such service? and if so, could you please refer me to one? Also, a couple of questions please: 1- Is it worth it? and what's the average cost. 2- If I have it polished, will it entirely remove the scratches? Does buffing thin the metal out? 3- Is there any difference between buffing and polishing anyway. Im sort of clueless. Thank you
