  1. I here you. Especially as they have made titanium casesets for the CRPOs already.
  2. Folks Anyone got one of these. I love the titanium gen version released at Baselworld, and looking longingly at the rep, even if the caseset is steel. http://www.pf-818.com/-p-20129.html Cheers N
  3. It is the sticker. If you look very closely at the picture you linked from TrustyTime you can see the edge of the sticker which cover the whole of the side of the caseset.
  4. Do you mean the security stamp on the side of the caseset opposite the crown - looks like a bar code. It is a sticker and can be removed. They come with it in place.
  5. Don't order until you know what you want. Current Noob factory (NF) 116610 LN and LV are V7 Current Noob factory (NF) 116040 nodate are V6s - I have this watch - link is http://www.pf-818.com/-p-18438.html I believe gen sub is slightly heavier than rep.
  6. Sorry yes you will need to register - I forgot that bit as it was so long ago.
  7. Yes he does. PF-818 has a shopping cart and you place your order for say RLSS00091 (Black V7 Sub with A2836) at $358 + $25 shipping. You select Paypal payment. A few hours later Joshua will send you a link to a legitimate e-commerce site, which I think is called strapsforme. He wil give you a login and when you login there will be items in your cart to the value of your paypal payment. You complete the Paypal payment and your order progresses to quality control pictures. You get a bona fide paypal transaction UTR for goods in the event of problems. Joshua gets your identity confirmation and delivery address via Paypal. It's very easy
  8. Yes he does. Look at this page (you may need to open link twice because he uses IP address filtering to stop LVMH cybersecurity hassling him) http://www.pf-818.com/-c-55_64_414_934.html On this page you will see V7 116610 both black (LN) and green (LV) versions, available in choice of SA3135 or A2836 (watches 2,3,4 and 5 in this page listing that I linked you) at $358 or $398 depending on movement. Hell for $1500 you could nearly buy all four!!! Contact him via email, pay via paypal. If you email him now he will typically respond about 1am UK time.
  9. No he's Perfect Clones. Follow the link http://www.pf-818.com/index.php I have bought 20 watches from Joshua over the last 5 years. I vouch for him. Send him a message before you order.
  10. Go with Josh. He's really good. My last two watches came in 4 days including a weekend delivery, zero customs issues. 25USD flat fee for delivery. Paypal via a surrogate ecommerce site. http://www.pf-818.com/index.php
  11. Yes he is. He's on the forum, but hasn't posted in a while http://rwg.cc/forum/274-torobravo/ Sometimes a creative approach is used to get round the fact that PP doesn't like sellers of reps. You may be directed to an alternative site to make the paypal payment. Establish comms with your trusted dealer first and then things will go more smoothly. I always ask Josh about supply issues and feedback on a watch I am planning to order. Generally he responds within a couple of hours. If your sale doesn't feel right, I'd bug out, shop around and try another dealer. I'd never send money via WU myself - they don;t verify enough about where your money is going.
  12. I would urge you to read a little more on here, cross check prices between the different trusted dealers before making your choice and parting with cash. For example my DSSD was not really any more expensive than my 114060, and I wouldn;t pay for than 500usd for a rep. There is so much information from real world rep wearers with wrist shots and feedback from the guys that build these amazing Franken watches as a labour of love. Their feedback on the out of box reps is very helpful because they know these items inside and out!!! The way I see it there is a law of diminishing returns. JF has a very accurate replication when it comes to height of crystal and bezel action. Bracelets may not be as good as the V6 and V& watches from NF. Best of luck with your purchase.
  13. Someone else can chime in here but i am not sure swiss eta is true as ETA stopped selling these movements some time ago. Maybe they are old movements. Some times they are dirty going in and need an overhaul to keep them running reliably.. if you will never open the caseback i'd say go for A2836.
  14. Well it depends on what you mean by best. SA3135 is the more accurate replication, but the 2836 is more reliable. I went with 2836 in my two new noobs. The DSSD is V7 and Nodate is V6. I don't believe that NF have made a Milgauss or an Explorer I NF's ceramic bezels are really nice...
  15. I know! In 1976 my father bought an Omega memomatic, like this one. I always thought it looked light years ahead of its time. Now in the 2016 grey dial model, I feel they pay homage to this classic watch. Last years PloProf also came in the grey dial, but that's a tank of a watch.
  16. Was her name Miss Direction?
  17. He's pretty decent like that. Once I asked him about an older Brietling rep and he warned me off them because the casesets weren't great. I've also found that if there's a replication that he likes, he'll record a video of it. He doesn't record videos for everything. Personally I'd rather have the 43.5mm PO Baselworld 2016 model with the grey dial, especially if they make one with a titanium caseset. Here's a picture of the Gen...
  18. I thought I would share a positively glowing review of my two noobs.
  19. Hi Hope you find what you are looking for. There is a wealth of information in RWG, but it's not always easy to find! The Noob Factory is producing very good 'out of box' reproductions of the ceramic subs. I have a V6 nodate ceramic which is just stunning, together with a D-Blue DSSD both of which came from Noob Factory via Joshua of Perfect clones this month. Even the bracelet replications with oysterglide are reproduced. Datewheel fonts are a giveaway on the reps, and often the fit of the solid end links can be a bit off. On some stainless steel bracelets the links are a bit 'edgy' (most watch manufacturers smooth off the edges of components prior to polishing but some of the rep factories seem to omit this step) and may require a light softening with wet & dry sandpaper - not enough to remove a lot of material, just to smooth the edge for comfort. Regarding loss in customs, the LVMH and Rolex sniffers mainly work through the Parcelforce clearing depot in Hounslow. I had once watch that didn't come through but that was several years ago and now Joshua no longer uses a EMS/China post that clear through the parcelforce system Sometimes watches come via DHL - they are fast and may charge £4-5 landing fee but move on quickly once you pay landing fee. Most recently Joshua has been using One World Express. They are excellent - 3-4 days shipping to UK, no fees, no customs, great tracking and weekend deliveries. If you are unsure ask Ryan which courier he is using to the UK. Hope this helps N Oh and avoid anyone that says their watches are the real ones. They'll use stock phots on their web sites and send you tat. The Cartel dealers on here send quality control pics of the watch you are actually going to receive.
  20. I have the quartz version because I seem to be jinxed with 7750's. The full caseset is ceramic and it's pretty well done actually - I too checked with Josh before ordering. Compared to 8000GBP for the gen it's pretty decent. Only thing I would say is that it tends to accumulate dust and stuff under the bezel for some reason
  21. Thanks guys. I did think it was a bit of a tall tale. Still the lady had moxie - I'll give her that! The thing that gets me is that you aren't going to drop £5k on a watch you haven't even seen in the flesh before are you? If people buy subs (and they are at the lower end of the scale for Rolex ownership) then why not stock at least one? These smaller dealers are still ADs and are carrying hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of static stock. I'd love to know the relative volume of sales (in units, not price) for the different models. I guess Rolex aren't going to put that info into the public domain!
  22. I happened to be near our local Rolex AD today. Normally I'm too shy to walk in as there's a security guard on the door, but I really wanted to have a look at a new Sub in the flesh. I went in and they had ExpII's, DJ2's, Milgausses and Daytonas but no subs. The AD explained that it was unusual to get a sub into the store, especially a 114060 nodate. She explained that the entire UK dealer allocation was for 15 submariners. I said I'd wait and take a look at one at the airport, but she said Rolex tend not to push subs to airports. She then cheekily suggest that my best option was to choose from what they had in stock! This really surprised me. On here its a bit of a standing joke about who has the best sub, and most of the modded watches are subs. So I just assumed subs would be most popular in the gen world too. I guess that's why they say ASSUME means you make an ASS out of U and ME! The other thing that I realised is just how much the reps have come on. I mean at a cursory glance the gen watches didn't really have any more 'pop' than the really good reps I've seen. I reckon I could wear my Tudor Pelagos into the Rolex AD and it wouldn't get called. N
  23. Nice piece. Interesting that there is no mention of Christopher Ward. I very much regret selling my CW aviator...
  24. That was my question. The cartel versions of 114060 are reworked 116610 cases but with the nodate dial, but that's less of a tell than the datewheel font being off. In the end i ordered the 114060 because i like the look of the watch and was never keen on the cyclops.
