  1. Wani Yi Being a new member asking for help, it does not help to be rude and sarcastic if the replies given are not to your expectations/liking. Our individual expectations are all different, and when someone chimes in with their opinion, it is according to THEIR expectations, and not necessarily one congruent with yours. Certain individuals could not tolerate inaccuracies, and some, flaws that they could observe but which are negligible to others. If you post your QC pics, then expect and accept the different opinions rendered. At the end of the day, if everyone loves the watch and thinks its ok, but you do not, would you then bring accept it? You are going to be the owner and wearer of the watch, not anyone else. If you already spotted and circled the flaws, then simply ask the dealer to get a new one for you. No point challenging the opinions of others here. All you want is a nice watch and not arguments. Did I miss any point?
  2. new AP folk need to read more too, as there are plenty of material available to them :D
  3. Actually, I would recommend that you do more research in this forum if you are interested in ROO mods.. BMW760's ROO has been modded to the max outside franken territory. There are many others here in varying stages of modifications/enhancements. Many pictures available too.
  4. Looks awesome, seriously speaking. You are right, this is as accurate as it could go without going franken. And the way it is now, franken could add maybe 5-10% "on the wrist" accuracy to your watch. Well done, wear her well.
  5. sec@9 bro.. just wait for the sec@12 model ok? We can discuss accuracies meaningfully then
  6. mate, its a sec@9 is it not? Do you still want further comments on the accuracy?
  7. I have heard of black lume, but I am very curious how it would look. Would you care to share a little, and also where you could get a black lume done please? Thank you kindly
  8. Thank you kindly for the education. I guess not many people would know about the intricacies you have mentioned. I agree with your point that if a certain amount of money is spent on a mod, it is fair that a corresponding standard of work be expected. I have put off purchasing the RB because of the CDG mods. Honestly I did find that the OP's post-mod watch looks good but I went to do a research on the gen RB and saw the differences. My opinion is that on the wrist, the modded watch would still look good to most upon casual inspection, except for eagle eyes like you.
  9. true that.. I was looking at the black theme replica (a classic ROO rep representation and this, and the MH). You are right, the modified A7750 does not allow for the date window to be shifted, and this could be perhaps due to a thinner tachy ring or something else. I was trying to figure it out. Either way, we are talking about millimeters here. I am happy with the illusion.
  10. did you guys notice that the date window placement is improved slightly (more to the left)?
  11. and I have been telling you over and over mate, you need one of these babies.
  12. haha Like my crazy dutch friend Martijnp, I want to buy one!
  13. wow nice RM tourbillons. Actually I have been looking at one myself, and it is my good fortune to meet someone who has not 1,2,3,4 but 8 of them Can you kindly share your thoughts on the model please, as in accuracy, movement reliability, quality etc. It would be very much appreciated by me.. thank you kindly in advance!
  14. Can we have an underwater shot? Just joking.. nice watch, wear her well!
  15. Is there a rule against posting gen pics as reps? :D Just kidding.. looks very promising. I would have a closer look on the dealer websites. Thanks!
  16. when you getting one mate? I see you trying on every brand except the APs!
  17. Hey Martijn, I knew you would drop by sooner or later! Wearing the Hublot can be quite an uncomfortable experience for me mate, the position of the holes would make it either too loose or too tight for me Plus the deployant would often "cut" into the underside of the wrist, telling the whole world what I was wearing after I take the watch off This one, is a fairly large watch, but very light given the forged carbon material (like the FC diver I think), and very comfortable to wear the entire day and night and following day and so on haha. Loving it!!
  18. Pardon me, but the safari really looks sharp. From the pics that show it lying on the magazine, it looks gen to me without scrutinizing the usual flaw spots (from the angle its hard to see) Please forgive me if I am saying that for a genuine watch. Very nice watch either way sir.
  19. thank you sir. I am trying to get better pics of the watch. My camera skills suck big time. Please bear with me.
  20. Hi all, Just to share, I purchased this watch off a fellow forumer (great guy btw) and it comes with dial and tachy color mods, the forged carbon caseset is from an aftermarket one made by another forum member here. , It comes with a gen GP strap. I got the crown guards and buckle sandblasted. I do not think the pics capture the actual hue of the dial, but it looks closer to gen than the factory v2 dials.
  21. and certainly, that is an asset for the rest of us who are yet learning. Thank you kindly for the education. I appreciate it because I never expected someone to be able to tell a rep v3 FC diver from gen based on pics. Something new learned everyday!
