  1. very nice! Is the length an XXL?
  2. I am based in Singapore, and from QC pics approval to watch in hand, it takes about 7 days max.
  3. I agree, Jacob makes one of the best, if not the best hornback straps outside OEM. I ordered a few times from him, and have an order pending with him. Other good strapmakers include Orloff, Donerix, Aaron from Combat straps, and Gunny straps.. I used to order from APBands but find them too expensive for what I consider to be average quality.
  4. Intime.co and Ryan come highly recommended and can be trusted. I dealt with them 3 times.. all flawless experiences.
  5. That is a rubberclad white dial, and basically a white themes with a rubber bezel. Besides the usual date placement flaw, and small negligible errors like the "swiss made" position, it is an accurate dial. The genuine dial is NOT white. It is silvery, and quite shiny. The rep captured this quite well. Also, I understand that the lume on the more recent rep batches are good on this baby. Hope that helps.
  6. You need about $400 for an excellent Hublot rep. Trust me its worth it. $50 is really an amount that is too little, even for the cheapest reps on the market these days
  7. Oh, since I saw this topic, I would like to update the community that I did my watch back from MD2020 after the non-communication episode. It got sent to him with -22sec/day. It returned with -23sec/day. I doubt he even serviced it, because the backcover, which was put upside down by the previous modder, was in the same position, and the position of each screw is exactly the same! I have sent the watch off to Vac for some real servicing/repair. AVOID!!
  8. says the man who scaled mount Everest and posted the pics. hmmmm
  9. Guys, Have you seen this model before? To be honest I have not. Can someone explain which model this would be, please? Thank you
  10. The dealers mostly carry the same models from the same factory of origin. Pick one you are comfortable with.
  11. +1 I think he posted that also to make me buy one. What an evil dude. But seriously, very detailed review on a very nice watch, thank you very much!
  12. The hands and the datewheel placement look rep, but the pushers and crown alignment look gen. And what model is this btw, looks like a safari dial with gold AP logo. I shall step aside and let the real experts chime in
  13. And it still has the "sapphire" sticker on the crystal. So I guess it was worn with the sticker on it.
  14. Really horrible looking reps, and sometimes, no gifts are better than gifts like that. Please do not get me wrong: I would not want to imagine you wearing that out and getting called out within 3 sec. If you want a Safari, get at least a decent looking rep. That watch is nowhere close to being a Safari. Just my 2 cents, and my apologies if you are offended. I did not mean to be rude, but I am merely thinking of the worst case scenario for you should you wear one of these out.
  15. Hi, my fellow Merlion club member, Welcome to RWG!
  16. ah, believe me I had run-ins with a few of the members here before. So I have had some experience in managing myself on this boards and not take things too seriously anymore. The only difference between me and you here is that I joined a bit earlier than you and yes, I have received pictures of watches from dealers with flaws so serious that it makes yours look like a $25,000 gen by comparison. Relax mate, all will be well. I know BMW760 to be a gentleman, having spoken to him before. He would definitely reciprocate your gesture in kind. Just enjoy yourself here and help is always available to those who really need it. Take good care and keep us updated!
  17. No, lets not make this about you or the people who posted. They (and I) obviously have nothing against you personally, remember that. It is, as I mentioned, merely a case of opinion variety and nothing more. Some of us are more prone to colorful language than others, that happens in the forum as well as in real life. This is about one specific watch which you would be getting from your dealer. I hope you communicate well with your dealer and get a nice piece, in time for Xmas! BTW, good choice for a rep model. you got heart, and my respect. Well done.
  18. Actually, being new and 2 weeks here is not your fault. We all go through that phase. BMW760 was referencing your previous post pertaining to acceptance of the "dings and dents" and whatnot, if you read his post carefully. To be fair, your post prior to his was also laced with sarcasm and exaggeration, as obviously, nobody likes a watch with such flaws on them. So make peace, and I hope you get a watch that is nice and acceptable to you. BMW760 is not your enemy, just let it go. In a forum where everyone mostly do not know one another in real life, misunderstandings arising from posts occur easily. Choose to believe that most members here are not mean-spirited, and you would fare a lot happier. Thats all, good luck with your Hublot!
