I used to have problems with the sec@12 movement for the older batches of ROO reps. The newer batches, for some reason, did not exhibit this classic problem somehow. No stoppage at all for the several unserviced ROOs I purchased. The Safari is one of the nicest ROOs in my opinion. Good choice.

You need to buy the base watch from any one of the dealers online, then send it for relume and AR works, (and service if you want), and get a nice aftermarket strap. You would be the one posting up pictures for eye candy after all that

The Safari was given a "soft" update, and the v2 comes with the silver lining, and possibly an upgrade of the datewheel color to off-white. You just need to look at the pictures, the silver lining around the dial markers indicate the updated version.

MD2020 should be here to clear his name or reverse some of the damage caused to his reputations through his actions, or rather lack of action and communication. There is hope yet. All it takes is courage and responsibility, the willingness to stand forth and apologize and set things straight. Sure, there would be the inevitable bashing, but that too will pass. Folks here are more forgiving than they would admit. We basically have a bunch of good guys who are angry and upset.
